Does the racial bonus trando's get for UA really make that much of a diference at Master TK level? Im asking becuase my friend is a Trando and he has 265dmg vice my 250dmg as a Humanand he seems to hit abit harder quicker and more acqurate.

any ideas or opinions?

It certanly dose help, every skill enhancer you have helps a little. And i belilve that Racial Bouns can allow you to go over the +25 cap for skill enhancers.

Indeed it does make a difference, you see Swordsmen paying 1 mill + for a +1 2HS Speed/Dmg skill tape. With Trandoshans getting +5 UA DMG (IIRC) thats quite a noticeable difference.

However it does come at a cost(you are probably aware of)
1. Trandoshan's can't wear boots
2. Trandoshan's can't wear gloves
3. Trandoshan's pay a penalty when aiding the Empire (not really TKA relevant)

It's really more important at the beginning of tka later on its not really noticable at master with all the large modifiers we get. Yet it does come in handy there is prices to pay as he said. So basically its up to you trandos are a cool race but it'll really hurt you in pve. People in PvP don't aim for your hands and arms anyways.

Racial modifiers are ultimately irrelevant. Mainly what matters is the strength of your armor, buffs, and tactics.

you're right.. it canonly meanthe difference between winning and losing.. no biggie

i've been a scaley lizard for awhile now and even though we have fat feet and clumsy hands, i dont notice that much of a difference not being able to waer armor on hands and feet... but when on a human for instance mobs can hit the armor holes for big dmg... i just dont get that on my lizard

The "politically correct" terminology is "species bonus." People of the Trandoshan community get offended when you employ "race" instead of the more correct "species" terminology.
