"So has anyone ever heard of a skill cap maybe for unarmed dmg?"
There are only 5 skills in this game with guaranteed caps on them. Ranged defense, melee defense, block, counterattack, and dodge.

You are wrong.
I have +10 in tapes, and i notice a considerable difference in my dmg using every type of attack.

you just "notice" this, maybe you just think you do... since you have them, maybe you convinced yourself that it is hitting higher

Quitch: I think that is very likely. When i got my +15 set put together i also 'noticed' an increase in damage output. Then i wanted to know for sure and found that i was wrong 
I still have not seen one single post from a tka who actually did some tests, stating that they work..
So come on you people who still believe, take my word for it or test it yourselves. But stop spreading your beliefs as facts. Please.

I have to agree, as much as I wish I didnt after all the AA's I bought to bring me upto +25. I stand in the same spot and kill a creature, then wait for it to re-spawn whilst changing armor to a totally unmodified (un-enhanced) armor. The results are very similar, if not virtually identical when I check my Combat channel!
I want it to workas TKM is a totally rubbish damage profession. I kept it 'cos I luv it regardless, but it would be nice if there were more powerful weapons we could use so not to spend a fortune of AA's which again I am sorry to say just dont work!
I mean Fencer and Swordsman, how many weapons do they have?! Scythe Blade I've seen max damage at over 400! Fencer I've seen Gadaffi Batons at over250 and a STUN Baton! A VK, lucky to reach anywhere near 250 with uber resources and uber once in a life time 40% master smuggler damage slice!
It is hard to post proof with screen shots as I have tried, but it doesnt work ppl! We should all do a petition and email it to the Dev's (are they called?) and insist on better TK weapons!
Lets work together and not against each other to improve this awesome, yet effectiveless, profession!

TKs can pour out more damage than a fencer can. TKMs are also speedcapped natural which swordsman are not. Your 250 damage Vks STACK on top of your innate unarmed damage technically making your weapon around 500+ damage effectiveness. Fencers, swordsman, pikeman and all other classes do not have an inherrent damage with a weapon that THEY DON'T HAVE EQUIPPED! But since you can go totally unarmed you need base unarmed damage. VKs just ADD onto that damage.

A VK in the hands of a TKM will be doing at least 250 damage more due to our bonuses, which means that VK you mentioned is actually doing 500 damage. Also, unlike the stun baton, it is AP1. Against an NPC or creature with AR1, or any player in armor, a stun baton does half damage.
So what is more powerful? A stun baton doing 125 damage against a guy in armor or a VK doing 500 damage?
