Thread: I took on 3 SBD, a battle droid, and a wraith and lived to tell about it!!!

I have to say that TKA is the most "tankworthy" profession in this game. I've done numerous combat professions and by far this has to be the best. Here's the story. We got a group of about 17 to do the DWB the other day. Everything was going fine until we got to some lower levels. Then agro came from everywhere. Eventually i had 3 SBD a battle droid and a wraith on me at once. I was amazed at how long i lasted against them. Although i didn't kill them and almost all of our group died i managed to make it out alive. Just thought i'd spread the love to the TKA's. Tank on!!!!

Even without another combat prof giving extra defences (fencer, anyone?) TKA is an awesome tanking prof, and dishes out damage very well except for a few high-level mobs. I'm going to try tanking with proper sliced composite armor, I've never really worn good energy resist armor in a LONG time.

I love TKA for tanking, I mostly use Commando to killl (with armor the HAM costs for TKM hurt...unbuffed) When I am doing the high level stuff I am either Tanking it for the group or doing the damage with my dot on SBD's. With a bit of Synthsteak and if they REMOVE the weapon switch delay it is more the possible to solo a few SBD's. I wouldn't drop TKA for anything.

Haha, for a second there I thought you quoted a post if mine. Tanked4 SBDs, 4 wraiths, and a BS Npc the other day all at once.

lol trek didn't see it happen but i'd believe it..still can't believe one non stacked profession can take so much damage
