I found this knife in my kitchen.
Being an SWG Teras Kasi Master, it caught my eye, and I started to mimic the special attack animations (well....I would probably fall on the knife and kill myself if I tried to do an Unarmed hit3, LOL)

Yes that looks like an ulu knife. They're originally from Alaska, used by Eskimos to skin animals and clean fish.
When I was a kid my parents had one. It was awesome for cutting meat and slicing pizza. THe very first time I saw a VK I thought it looked just like an ulu. My guess is that the dev who thought up the VK owned an ulu.

Haha.
Just don't try to clap while holding it like we can in game...

The devs didn't think up VKs, though the idea that only Teras Kasi warriors can wield them was all them. VKs in SW EU were used by almost all common thugs.

Actually, the ulu is a woman's knife and is widely used by inuit across the arctic, not just in alaska.
It is good for cutting up meat, pizza, and various other things.
For the actual usage, it's use is not too transferrable to fighting, though you would get some really nasty cuts if you actually get hit by one.
