I know next to nothing about the history or story behind Teras Kasi, because i didn't read the books, but...
I dont see why they can't add similar content(both pvp and pve) into the teras kasi profession as they do for jedi and BH. Instead of a jedi city, i big temple out of which you get a series of missions of all different types to work your way up a terasi kasi ranking system of some sort. You could have an optional pvp branch of it as well. A friend of mine told me that Teras Kasi were trained to fight jedi, he could have been making that up because he is a jacka$$ but if it is true, then what are Bounty Hunters doing with that job? I personally thing that they should have a some sort of hub for each profession where you can take part in interactive missions (pvp or pve, etc.) like the jedi city, only better, hehe. I have a jedi character and i think it is stupid that they are the only prof. with an end game ranking system, and i think it is stupid that BHs are the only prof. with player interactive missions. There is plenty of history and backstory and info. to pull from to come up with senarios for every profession. Sorry for rambling but it has been digging at me for a while.

You should go read the stickies at the top of the forum.
There are a few good links there to give you some "background" into the "history" of Teras Kasi.
Ryutek has done a good job of organizing them for us
