I just stood in one spot for four minutes trying to meditate. No moving. Said I was running. Eventually, I managed to /sit and /stand and then about ten seconds later, I could meditate.
We're seeing about 10 second lag, among other issues, on Eclipse, 1.8 km SW of Naboo - Theed Starport. CM can't throw poison by the time a TK knocks down the target. It's just overall bad.

Hi all,
Recently I have been facing a lot of lag everywhere. This is a serious issue that I wish the developers should solve asap because its making the entertaiment rate go down. When doing solo missions in dant or trying to move or leave coronet it very bad indeed.

since the first jtl publish from last week, all of Lowca's gotten laggy. Dant especially has gotten asbolutely horrid... I can't grind there any more, it just takes too long to do stuff. Which sucks since those Mokk missions are my bread and butter for quick income. Guess I'll be killing rancors.

It is my understanding that Lag is a huge issue across all servers at the moment, and that they are working to resolve the issue. Having been away this weekend I need to catch up on reading some threads, but as soon as I learn more I'll post it here.

What I have heard so far is to:
Go to the options in game, select graphic options, and deselect "enable bloom"
Also go into the game options from the launchpad and make sure pixel shader is set to optimal, as in some cases it may have been reset with the newest publish.
That was in the tech support forums, if you go there right now, you'll see it flooded with lag questions
I personally think the problem is server side, and so far it seems to effect everyone, no matter where you live and play from.
I followed the tips above, but my fps was still in the single digits in the middle of nowhere on naboo, dantooine is pretty much out of the question, and I was getting 2-3 fps in the Coronet spaceport.
This seriously effect my playing time, and I'm trying to be patient, but I'm losing it quickly.....
(besides that Rome: Total War is awesome!! Take that Greece!!! All your Wonders are belong to me!!!!)

An Update:
The Issue Is Known
There are a couple of Dev responses through that thread, and the last one by Tiggs (at teh time I post this) says they will post more about it soon (today or tomorrow). Watch the Dev Tracker for more information (and I'll post an additional link to the information here, just to keep it consolidated).
