Thread: This is nothing major, but a while ago i remember someone talking about meditation exp...
An idea that was tossed about when I first saw this was you'd get experience based on the damage that was healed. Once you're ham was regenerated, you wouldn't gain exp anymore until you were hurt and needed to meditate, again. With the current state of things, meditate would go up pretty quick, using this idea.
Uhhh, yeah that's actually an awesome idea man(Even though the bulk of martial arts actual do have immobile meditation stances). But your idea makes it alot more interesting.
Macroing dances is not really too hard. /pause 30;/flourish 1
etc. It's lame, but pretty much every dancer does it. Regardless, I think your idea is still betterthan the current system.
This would be an interesting thing to implement for all the people who are still playing/paying and playing TKA after all these "changes" have settled down.
Meditation is looking more and more attractive for me to pursue because of all the damage we take from ourselves now.
I'm a master medic now, as well as about halfway up the TKA tree. With the new HAM costs, stims are invaluable. Now, if only there was a dancer I could watch while I was fighting or something.
Also, if you wear armor, meditation sucks because your substats are so low. I believe it's percentage based so a pertcentage of a low number is still a low number.
Can we collect tips? just kidding...
I find it to be a very refreshing idea! Give us something to do with our meditate! Maybe at lower levels we could only heal the mind... then as we advance our action... until finally we become Masters and can mend actual physical damage.
Very innovative!
Also, instead of flourishes (because the meditative sense is made of motions that your body should flow through easily) I think that the meditation should gain exp by healing your stats. As the Meditation mod goes up, faster you heal up.
1. Meditation, even at low levels, should do SOMETHING; anything! Perhaps even speed up your HAM regeneration by the slightest fraction.
2. Like skill trees in other professions, Meditation should give and progress on Meditation XP.
