You read the book. They are there to keep them in check, not hunt them.
At least now you know WHY you are so uber...ya...all the girls think so too...so have your mom give you another chewable vitamin in the morning to help calm you before you come to the servers to post. I hear it helps in some cases.

What book is that? Fan fiction and RPG's from the 80's are not admissable as evidence. Tera Kasi are not Jedi Hunters or 'protectors of jedi'
If anyone can provide evidence from the Star Wars Universe to provide otherwise then please do so.

It's morons like you that get people flocking to the forums to call for Nerfs. He's a little lesson for you, in a game (especially a online RPG), there has to be competiviness. This isn't SWG:TK vs Jedi
The only two instances in the Star Wars Universe EU of Teras Kasi are in Shadows of the Empire and Agents of Chaos II: Jedi Eclipse (part of the New Jedi Order epic series).
-The Pike sisters are mentioned in Shadows of the Empire as two of the most deadly unarmed combatants in the galaxy, proficient in Teras Kasi, or "steel hands."
-Prince Isolder of the Hapes Cluster and Archon Beed Thane are involved in a Teras Kasi duel in Agents of Chaos II: Jedi Eclipse. Both of them are noblemen who fight to determine if Hapes will involve itself in the way with the Yuuzhan Vong.
There has never been any evidence of the Teras Kasi martial art form being a deterrent to the Jedi. This is coming from a TKA on the Eclipse server. In fact, TKA's are supposedly far more rare than Jedi, at least in the real Star Wars Universe.
Furthermore, stop propagating this false myth that TKA are uber. In fact please stop using the word uber, unless you are writing a paper on the ramblings of dead German philosophers.
As people have already pointed out, bounty hunters and Imperials are the ones hunting down the Jedi. TKA is just another fighter, nothing more than that. Their skills at master are moreakin to the kung fu masters seen in old kung fu movies with really bad dubbing. The fact that our moves are named after various Star Wars animals sort of pays homage to those earlier films with their praying mantis, invincible toad, tiger claw styles of kung fu.
If you want to go sit out in the wilderness watching a lone jedi kill gnort after gnort after gnort, be my guest and knock yourself out. This is one TKA who's not going to volunteer for watcher duty.

Jedi = Uber hard to get, as most people don't even know how to.
Bounty hunters = Uber hard to get(master anyway, you eye shoters).
TKA = VERY VERY easy to get, aside from the brawler section, but that little bit in NO WAY qualifies you for the ability to hunt jedi.
That is BHs job, that is why most of them spent the majority of their skill points, to become bounty hunter in the first place.
So untill Teras Kasi Artist becomes an elite/elite or hybrid proffesion, or in some way much harder to obtain and nto just a choice and a short grind away, you should not be able to carry any great weight while fighting jedi. Blame the DeVs for putting TKA in such a effortless place, if youw ant, or eccept that TKA is well off enuff, and be happy beating the crap out of everyone except jedi.
Or, just go try and fight jedi anyway.
As it is TKAs don't really have enuff varitey in moves to make fighting anything much of a chore, it is pretty much the same pattern no matter who you fight, with few exceptions, you want to be able to use this simple easy pattern to ruin what some one spent months working on? BAH!!!
