Thread: BE Clothing choice ?
Hello I am still working on finnishing Master Brawler before going TKA, no not HOLO chasing, infact I deleted my Human MWS fora Trando. TKA : }
I am going totry some BE clothing instead of armor for novice TKA anyone out there who only use BE clothing with no armor?
It seems that the most popular is the Mele Defense +4 Stun Defense +17 but the intimidation and warcry and bleed defense ones seem interesting but not sure how effective they would be?
Any help in choosing a good TKA BE outfit ?
Oh and I was told that Melee Defense caps out at +25 but I am not sure if that is the max for clothing bonuses or is that the total for character boneses ?
Any help is apreciated thanks.
depending on how you play/what you fight.
If your going toe to toe with big critters and have fights that last 30 seconds or longer I suggest using the intimidate/warcry clothing. intimidate/warcry can be devestating to big mobs but only if you can land it. I use +14/+14 pants and shirt and the differance is immediatly noticable.
shorter fights and PvP go with the Melee/stun defense cloths.
Personally i never use armor and have BE clothing. Mine are made intimidate/warcry as the main skill enhancements.
I have the max you can get which is +25 on clothing. I also have defenses against bleeding and injury treatment. Get socketed close and put skill tapes that help with melee defense.
I think int/wcry are as mentioned above a life saver when killing larger mobs. bare in mind they still wont stick all the time and rarely ever stack up. Usually ill try wcry 2 and if it doesnt stick then do wcry 1. Once the effect goes away I repeat again. Same goes for Intimidate.
I think the melee defence BE clothing is might be better for dueling. But then again wcry in a duel is quite efective when it sticks.
Of course you can always get all the enhancements you want but they just wont be the max for such a skill.
I never use armor and probably never will, so BE clothing is the way to go.
I only use Warcry/Intim and Wound/Injury Treatment modded clothes.
And +25 is the max cap so im told.
I also found out that you can only layer 4 pieces of BE clothing so far ?
Like say pants, shirt, jacket, and bandolier ? any other way to layer them to get 5 pieces on ?
This would be good for maxing the +4 Melee defense bonuses?
there's no 5th slot that can hold BE enhancements
only pants, shirt, jackets and bandoliers can hold them, so unless they change it so gloves, boots and belts can, 4 will be the max.
currently i'm using an outfit that is 4 pieces of +4 melee def/+15 stun def, with the jacket and pants being +16 wound/+16 injury treatment as well.
i haven't done much pvp, and I plan to get some intim/warcry clothes for that, but what i have now has worked well for me up to this point.
Hmmm I was told that BE clothing can only be made with ONE BE tissue per item no matter how many slots it has?
That is why I think only 4 items can be worn at the same time with the 4 clothing options giving a +20 Melee Defense and +25 Stun Defense (maxed out) for the whole outfit.
Is this wrong can you put 1 tissue in every slot? so you can max out Melee Def. with a 5 socketed item?
That would be nice :}
when i was still tailoring, you couldadd the stats from1 reinforced fiber panel and 1 synthetic cloth per item... the stuff i have now uses 1 of each.
i had heard that it was changed a bit so that you could use 1 of each PER SLOT, meaning in items that use 2 different RFP slots, you can use 2 different RFPs in it... buti don't know if that was ever fully implemented.
as it stands, there is no way to max melee defense to the cap in a single outfit using only BE cloths unless you can find +7 tissues.
Sorry guys but you can have BE enhancements in headwear....the swoop helm, sunguard, and lekku wraps.
I have an outfit that the shirt, pants, and lekku wrap are all enhanced. Jacket and gloves have 4 sockets each and so does the shirt, pants, and lekku wrap. Thus I have 20 sockets for enhancements and have maxed my be clothes out! Just find a great tailor to hook ya up!
yeah... i forgot that some of the headwear uses synth cloth
that'll get another healing cloth, but no combat related ones.
Here is the address of a message explaining what clothes can get which mods, and how many of each they can have.

Cool so the + on Warcry is for the added chance to land the attack not in its duration or effect ?
correct. (sure would be nice if it was +14 seconds durration though. hehe)
