What is your strategy for doing Rancor missions? What type of Rancors do you kill? Armor or no armor? Any macros?

I'm about a day away from becoming Teras Kasi Master and I was wondering if there is a way that is really effective in killing Rancors.

If I ever do fight rancors, I whip out the ubese armor, get buffed, and have fun with UH3. It's horrible practice to spam it, but they go down in 10-20 seconds.

actually itd good to have a suit of 80% composite on but without the helmet and have soem good brandy in hand as well, if not get soem good bio clothing. The best combo for me is knockdown, blind, dizzy, stun, spam unarmed hit 3 till he dies.

I used to get buffed and then take them on in my 90% Kin compo. But now I get buffed and do it in my boxers!

Normally, i just wear my street clothes, no armor needed. I am always boozed up on the brandy, and use canape like it's chocolate-chip cookies.

I normally don't take missions for rancors, because i know a few spots that have TONS of random spawn rancors of all types, that aren't attached to a lair. (the reason i do this is because more kills in less time). the only time i do this though is when Dath. Carnovore meat is in uber stat rotation (which is most of the time on Lowca). Not sure if all servers are like this, but there is a large valley close to the Dathomir Sarlaac. Myself and a few friends call this Rancor Valley. I just go out there, and take down any rancor in sight. Sure saves a lot of time, and a lot of hassel with the whole "solo group" thing. Youths, Gnarled, Regular, Mutant, and all the others. In a good 3 hour buff i can get about 25k of Rancor meat, and turn around and sell it for 25-30cpu. I can get that much meat because I am Ranger 0-0-4-0 so my Tracking 4 lets me harvest a lot more, then i also eat some veghash too.

As far as strategy, i try to not take on too many mutant rancors at a time, because they seem to keep hitting me with some nasty mind bleeds (though i have Medic First Aid 2, which lets me heal bleeding with /firstaid). I used to spam unarmedhit2 until i realized how much quicker they die with the unamredHeadhit instead. Through a Knockdown2 in there, and some intimidates, and you've got a LARGE pile of dead rancors ready to be harvested.
