I was wondering how good unarmed combo2 is for mind damage vs head hit, against a opponent with a helmet. Considering that headhit doesn't do all that much dmg against a armored enemy.
Any input is appreciated.

From my experience, unarmed combo is going to hit the health and action pools. In all honesty, I don't recall it ever hitting the mind pool so they will be used for different occasions.
Unarmed combo has an advantage in that it is 2 hits as opposed to 1 and the 2nd hit seems to bypass defenses and armor. I use combo against high kinetic resist mobs and players that have either a lowered health or action pool or seem to be wearing high kinetic resist armor.

Combo2 supposedly hits all three pools, but I only know that from reading the skill box (haven't finished getting it yet).
The TKA FAQ says that combo2 has a x3 damage multiplier, whereas all the targeted hits have x2.5 multipliers. If you're swinging at your speed cap, combo2 should be a clear winner.

I know from experience that unarmed combo 1 and 2 do the same amount of damage. With less HAM cost with 1. Compared to unarmed head hit, it does more damage as a whole but not necessarily to just the mind pool.It does hit all 3 pools and cuts right through armor. I actually use both combo 1 and head hit asmy own combo, as well as stun, dizzy, and KD.

From what I have read in the past for pure mind damage Headhit is the way to go, but if you are trying to hit health Combo hit will do more damage then the bodyhit. For mind hit it is 2.5x damage with 80% hitting mind and 10% on each health and action, combo hit is something to the effect of 20% mind 10% action and 70% health with a 3x damage multiplier, but don't quote me on the figures, which eeks out the break down for body hit 2.5x damage multiplier 80% health 10% on each action and mind

Multi-pool attacks such as TK's Combos, Fencer's Scatter Hits, Carbineer's Scatter Shot, and BH's Fast Blast DO NOT ignore armor. They ignore melee toughness and food buffs such as synth steak, but NOT armor. They are being fixed in the upcoming publish 9.
