Thread: Good TKA combination?

Hey im slwly retiring my ch and scouting for TKA and CM i was wonderin what your guys take was on my combo? a combat medic already 0/0/0/2 wothe enough exp to become 0/0/0/3 and im workin on unarmed 4. Do you think i will be a good solo toon? if so just give me a bit of feed back. also what should i wear? normal clothes, armor? like i said drop some feed back please.

I have heard this one is good, ive been toild the skill points allow it as well.
master TKA, master commando, fencer 0330, pistoleer 0040.

IM not sure how you figured out that this would work but just TKM and master commando (which requires master marksmen) is already 203 SP. and thats not including the 29 you need for novice brawler and unarmed 4
That gives you 232 which is just enough to pick up some medic skills and get yourself 1 box of medic (1-0-0-0 for better treatment) That will give you 249 used points and you are stuck from there.
I think the best combo (for me anyway) is TKM/master brawler/master pistoleer. I didnt want to do TKM/rifle or TKM/cm cuz it seems like those templates are for the sheep of the servers. (everyone and their mother wants to be a rifleman/tkm so they can be "uber"..... Fags)
Anyway, TKM/MB/Pistoleer is great cuz you have high defenses and you can still allow for melee mitigation 3 and ranged mitigation 3. THIS IS AWESOME for whatever you fight. You get a geo stun pistol (soon to be dual wield
) and TKM which is great for tanking anything in the game. You arent going to be that effevtive in PVE because of the major kinetic resists of everything you see but you can still hold your own for sure. Pretty good in PVP. I find i win about 80% of my duels accept against a very smart pikeman or rifleman or CM.
The great thing about this template is first off, from M. brawler you get intimidate2 and KD2 AND warcry2 all of these things GREATLY increase your effectiveness.. Second, you are still left with 18 points which can be put towards medic (for pve) or towards smuggler (PVP) YOu can get 0-0-3-0 in smuggler if you want
which gives you a delay shot and a ranged KD shot hehe.
Basically, you get to do a wide range of damage with pistols, from heat, stun, kinetic, blast, (with commando), energy, (and i use good pikeman lances with DOT's to REALLY put a hurt on my enemies
) and on top of the great types of damage you can do, you can ALSO kick some SERIOUS a$$ with TKM once you learn what you are doing.
I rest my case....

I think if you can become a full CM, you'll be pretty good, as they a uber in PvP(don't think so? just look at all the people asking for the devs to nerf the whole profession) and with TKM, you'll be fine when they get into range.

I just dropped BH for this template: TKM, Master Smuggler, and Master Pistoleer. I just got novice TKa and novice smuggler. I like this becuase not only with Smuggler do you get Ranged Damage Mitigation but u also get it with Pistoleer and TKM has melee damage mitigation, u can u use pistols for ranged combat and move up with TKM. You can slice your own weapons with smuggler and self buff yourself with spices. Also u get factoin perks (thats always good :smileywink
and u get really good attacks like Last Ditch Assult and Feign Death. I feel this is one of the best PvP and PvE template but that is just my opinion.

oh ill give it to you slim it sounds good that.
the MTKA and master commando with fencer 0330 and pistoleer 0040, yes i didnt work the skill points out my self i was just told you could do it. anyway. the fencer and pistoleer skills give great def mods im sure i could drop a few of the useless skills you get as master commando specificay the tree for heavy acid rifle, so that i could still get some if not all for the 0330 fencer and 0040 pistoler, again not worked this out. also pistoleer skills with a good laucher pistol is ace.

hi,
i think that the best TKA combination is.... Master TKA...... Commando 0 0 4 0....... Fencer 4 0 4 0......... and pistoleer, just enough to get capped on dodge. (125).....
then u have the amazing tanking power of TKA
the flame of a commando
the defence of a fencer
and to finished it of you have all the dodge in the world!
making it my personal fav
