Thread: Strike + Hit more powerful than Advanced Combo?

Im not sure if this a bug, or whether its so well known that no one seems to mention it and I just havent noticed, but is combining melee strike and hit more powerful than advanced combo?
I havent tried this in pve, or pvp proper, just a few duels with another tkm/cm, and Im not sure if its because combo damage displays in the combat log are bugged either, however
Melee hit was doing around 260 dmg
Melee strike was doing around 280dmg
(this is after reduction by armour)
Advanced Combo was doing around 150dmg
This wasnt just dmg from the combat log either, this was actually what was happening to our health bars
this really needs more testing, perhaps you all would like to report your findings
If so, never have to worry about SAC again tbh

Yes, I always thought it used to aswell, I never really paid much attention to it, but so far today Ive seen a considerable drop in how good combo is (if it was ever good in the first place), has this possibly been affected in anyway by the hotfix today do you think?

It displays the wron damage in the combat tab. (You can test it by hitting and looking at their healthbar) but I often use the two for pvp as the timer ends quickly so I hit a lot faster and use less action.

This is what I understood to be the problem with combo aswell, however, when tested more thoroughly, it WAS the low damamge that was being caused to the oponent

Funny, usually it does a bit more (400-500) as TKM with katarn knucklers. Melee hit/strike does around 320-50

when you say the damage being caused, did you look at the yellow floaty text above the opponents head or did you actually record his health before/after the combo attack.
When I tested combo it gave the wrong number in both combat log, and as floaty, but the correct damage (3 times as much) was actually taken if you look at his health bar.

Yes, damage to the health bar was also repeatdly in the 150 range aswell.

Something else to note for agro purposes, the 'whatever' we are fighting thinks it is only get'n hit once not the 3 times that it truly is get'n hit. Another bug that prevents us form holding agor as the tank we are supposed to be.
