Thread: 2 quick fixes for Taunt

1) Make all taunts (Area and Single) longer ranged. I think 35m would be a good range rather than the 12m range we tanks have right now.
Doing this lets tanks draw agro away from our Ranged Prof. counterparts, which we can then mitigate the damage off of us.
[For those who think that this will make "Lazy Tanks": 35m is not enough range for a tank to sit in one spot sipping lemonade, s/he will still move around a lot to get in the right position to gain hate from the target MOB.]
2) Make all taunt round times shorter. Make it have the round time of any other attack.
This lets tanks gain more agro control, just like we are supposed to by definition.
[Those who think that the taunt is good as it is, I personally don't see where you are coming from. Getting and maintaining agro is almost impossible right now, even if you alternate Taunt Bonus and Area Taunt you still have about 20 seconds before you can get the agro again, and by that time the Ranged guys will have pulled the agro off of you since they do more damage (which is what they are supposed to do).]
