Thinking of changing my template, would love some opinions:
Current: MSwords/MTKA/MBrawl/Medic 0/0/4/0, Pike 0/1/0/0
New: MPike/MTKA/MBrawl/Swords 0/0/4/4
What do you all think?
Note: Think in PvE terms. I don't PvP, so I don't require a PvP template.

I'll be interested to see what the responses are on this as I am adding Master Pike to my skills. I also have master brawler and was thinking about using the last skills on some fencer.

Just my personal opinion: Even if you are stricly PvE, I'd probably drop the pikes and M brawler and get some Doc. Bacta infusion is nice when going up against higher level stuff. If I wasn't adamant about keeping M Smuggler, I'd definately go some sort of TKM/swords/Doc combo. I would think the only things from pikes that would beuseful would be warcry and intimidate. If you are just doing pikes for the spin attack, I wouldn't bother. Even though the exp changes were reverted, I wouldn't count on things staying as they are now.

Lol. I'm about a half an hour from Mastering pike and you tell me to drop it!

I have M.Brawler for the great increase it gives to Unarmed Damage, and I'm looking at spin attack because I'm tired of getting beaten down whenever I'm up against more then a couple of opponents at once. I see the benifits of having doc, but if I try to heal myself during combat, I reduce the XP I get, so I wind up trying to rely on Stim-Ds anyway.

My current build: TKM/Master Pikeman/Master Brawler/Swordsman 0-0-4-4, Fencer 1-0-0-0
I have yet to face a PVE one on one situation that I can't handle with stimpacks. I think probably only elite level NPC/creatures would even give me a run for my money. I use COB, Intimidate, Bleed, Warcry, Armor Break, then KD and alternatebetween Critical Hit andImpale until my action gets low and then I alternate Melee Hit and Melee Strike until my action get back up, then it's a repeat until they are toasted. I primarily fight unarmed but if I need higher damage output I use a regular vibro lance.

As you can see in my sig I also have the template you are asking about. Yes most people will tell you you're useless without healing, but in fact you're not. At least in PvE you're great. Anything up to lvl 85 can be solo'd no problem with just stimpacks. Krayts can be tough, but still doable. Nightsister Rangers (or whatever those lvl 84's are called) are easy even.
You'll be dishing out lost of damage, fast. Or using the pike abilities you can reduce the creature's combat effectiveness to such low levels that all you need is stims to stay alive. You just have to know when to use which abilities, instead of just keeping Bacta Infusion running and hitting Bacta Shot once in a while, which takes no intelligence really. Less more boring, more active involvement in combat is what this temp means.
It's a great temp, and I love it.

The problem is that almost no one responds in that thread, so by asking someone to post there you are essentially just saying GO AWAY
Its a great idea to try to concentrate the template questions in one thread but it isn't proving particularly helpful. What we could probably use is a sticky discussing the various templating options written by someone who has tried them out and can offer a reasonable appraisal, post CU. That would go a long way towards answering many people's questions and be a far better option than a thread no one cares to respond to.

No matter what anyone else says to the contrary...you need Doc for the healing in order to do more than regular missions and faction NPC's.
