PvE it works fine..


Large scale PvP and it worthless


The “Buffer” simply do not cut it


The server becomes very confused when you have 20+ ppl fighting

We need to be able to reuse it when running

They will never fix Client/server lag..

I don't think the poster was trying to defalte your idea, it is a good one, we need to apply while running, but your answer is not on topic.


Yes I noticed you don't have to wait to reapply cob, this is a nice change to bad we didn't get any notes on it. Just a little hot fix note saying it works this way now, unless its a bug that they are gonna fix, then we will hear about that.

COB is working!!!!!
You can reactivate it LONG before it runs out.
When the "cool down" timer runs out (after 15-20 sec I think) U can reaply it!

Learn to use it, COB is your life

It was added post CU, not sure exactly when but definilty wasn't part of the original CU.


It works with Doc buffs and Power boost as well.


We've always been able to restart the buff/def etc but it never use to reset the timer, so if you only had 30 seconds left on your doc buff getting a new one before that 30 seconds ran out was pointless. Not sure if this was a bug that was fixed or just a nice mod.

This is something I discovered last night. I'm not sure if it's widely known (and I'm just clueless), or if itmight be handy info for other TKs:


You can re-start a new Center of Being session while the previous icon is in the "blinking" state (5s left, IIRC). You don't have to wait for the icon to go completely away, which leaves you open for full-damage hits until the next CoB kicks in. It also gives you a buffer if the server's a little confused about whether you're moving or not and you have to retry.


Since the macros I've seen for CoB have a 46-47s loop time (31-32 for people without improved CoB), I'm thinking this isn't universally known. Or maybe they decidedit's just a better idea to space out the specialcost of CoB as far as possible.

Can you just run cob as the default attack so that it keeps trying to get re-applied? or is a macro required (if so a quick reminder of it would be appreciated)

You could set it as default but would be a waste of action. Reuse timer is 15 seconds, IIRC, so after 15 seconds is up you would reset it to 30 seconds for the same action cost as waiting until 25 seconds with no added benefit.

- I supported the CURB, the Devs and the attempt to make SWG a better game and have realized it didn't work so I'm quitting in less than 2 days and won't be tricked into coming back again. Trick me once, shame on you...
