Why is it we can't keep a mob knocked down with kd, kd, etc, but a range type can root after root after root?
Shouldn't root work the same way as kd so that the mob becomes immune to another root for x amount of time?

TKAs are tankers. We are supposed to be taking the blunt of the damage while others do the states, postureattacks, andsuch.

If a single character is doing that, they're using Concussion Shot, probably ... that SHOULD break on a hit, but doesn't. If it's multiple, they're using Stopping Shot, and possibly ignoring others to do so. It's worse for Jedi, given that enough BH can gang up to leave us perma-rooted...

this is true and messed up at the same time since we put out little damage, butthe mobs go after whoever's giving the most damage. If Taunt worked, then we can Tank, but since it doesn't, we just chase the mobs and try to look cool doing it.

The game is all about states and specials. I don't think we should hit cob taunt a mob and repeat until its dead. How is that fun?
Range does so much damage its a game of movement much of the time. Root, blast, move on. Mobs that need tanks, like General Grevious, we can't tank.
Anyway the question is why should perma-root be possible and perma-kd is not? Forget pvp. If range couldn't perma-root, wouldn't tanks be needed more? As it is now, the best offense is never getting hit in the first place, so where does that leave us?
