Well Jedi/BH is the primary fault in SWG now. Every combat-related balance (excluding universal bugs) seem to wind back round there. They are currently the two main classes in PvP and PvE, so they're kind of a yardstick to measure everything up against.

I can hit for 1.2k unarmed with Advanced Combo, that's pretty ok for supposed "average" damage, I think.

Feel sorry for the Smugglers, Squad Leaders, Doctors, and Rangers. They've been shafted again and again with lies and visions of a revamp for well over a year. At least our profession pretty much works, to a degree.

lol.... I am talking against high level mobs or ANY DAMAGE in PVP! the only way you hit for that much is against a lvl 5 mob! I would like to see a screen shot to prove me wrong! use a TK move with a TK weapon! No hybrid crap.... use only our skills and than see how pathetic they are.

As TKA is supposed to be a "tank" I doubt anything will be done in regard to damage. After all, Tanks aren't suppose to be big damage dealers. What I think needs to be looked at is the Taunt ability. If taunt caused a creature to disregard the rifleman (doinf a butt load of damage with every shot) and stay on the TK Tank . . . we would find a better role in combat . . .regardless of damage.

How about instead, you do this for me. Show me a full temp melee stacker without TKM that can beat me. It would really make my day...

Not to be an pain but do the devs listen to your ideas! It seems they listen to the jedi corrspondant since they have patches all the time but TK's get nothing EVER! I haven't seen a Tk patch in so long makes me wonder if they know it is a class anymore! I am not saying you aren't doing your job. I am just wondering if they listen to you... It is crazy! We only have a few things that need to be fixed.... Force of Will and our Damage output is WELL below par.. a dancer probally hits harder than us!

Not much if you ask me... they could put cooler effects in but that isn't the main issue! HAH I just want a dev to FIX something for us so we aren't a complete EXTINCT class!!

Combo attack does do about 900-1200 damage against mobs the same level, or 2 levels below you. It does not show in the combat log or on screen (bug), but it can be seen by the loss of health from the mob. It is a slow attack and eats action like crazy though.

It will eat your action and be slow if you keep using it. If you alternate attacks, say Melee Hit>Melee Hit>Combo, you won't lose as much action. They don't name it Combo for nothing. For me, I do 2 attacks then 'combo', seeing that the cool down rate for Combo is as long as the amount of time it takes me todo 2 attacks.

Not sure if I buy this one because I'm also M. Swords and my PH hits for 1200-1800 and my TKM hits are no where near the dmg I hit with the PH. Regardless, I don't care about dmg anyways. TKM is no longer offensive, I can accept that. What I have a problem with is the devs have increased dmg on mobs and I'm getting hit for nearly double the hitpoints as I was Post-CUtoPre-Pub 17. It is because of this, I am no longer the almighty tank that I'm supposed to be.

Trust me....it's 900-1200, but so slow that DPS is quite low.

As Ruka says, if used with other attacks, it makes TK far more effective.
