(Test was done 21. May 2005 - PRE pub 17)



My Template: Master TK (yes, nothing else)

((Tested on LVL 1-2 creatures))



Cyber Arm Installed(quest reward):

+5 melee Accuracy

Have an 'overload' skill that last for 5 seconds and have about 20-30 minutescooldown (rofl)


Damage done without the 'Overload':

-Blaster fist: 565
-Unarmed: 695
-Katarn: 720



Damage done with the 'Overload':

-Blaster fist: 565
-Unarmed: 695
-Katarn: 720


Cyber Arm NOT Installed:

-Blaster fist: 565
-Unarmed: 695
-Katarn: 720


With +25 unarmed damage BIO Cloth mods:

-Blaster fist: 565
-Unarmed: 695
-Katarn: 720


With +24 food:

-Blaster fist: 565

-Katarn: 720

-Unarmed: 743






Weapon Used:


Knuckle of the Katarn:


Attack Speed: 2
Modified Speed: 1.25
Elemetal damage: 120-Cold
Estimated DPS: 328
Modified DPS: 524.18
Special Attack Cost:

Blaster Fist:


Attack Speed: 1.96
Elemetal damage: 32-Heat
Modified speed: 1.23
Estimated DPS: 230.24

--BIO Clothes+25 Unarmed Damage +25 Terrain neg +25 Melee/Ranged defence - only Terrain neg work.


--With the Katarn knuckle the actionbar last longer (I estimate that unarmed use about 90-100 in action)


--Unarmed food (+24 burnout sauce) work only with bare hand


--The 'Cybernetic Arm' give NO aditional benefits what so ever.


--The "real speed"of the specials seems the same for Unarmed/Katarn/BlasterFist / tested with my 'eyes' :-)



What can I say?


Perhaps some stuff need some serious fixing?

Good to know. Guess I'll save on buying and finding a lot of that stuff until it provides more of a benefit.

Awesome work!


I'm beginning to think that coming back for the CU was a bad idea. What was the point of the alpha/beta/TC phases of this if even something as basic as weapons and defensive clothing would still be broken in live? I really like the new combat structure, but it seems as if the quality issues persist.

its a quest in the Rryat trails of Kashyyk...theres som egood guides, in the Quests and Mission, Loot and Items, and Game Guide forums


you can solo the entire quest, right up to the point of killing the katarn (lvl 87)

What are you attacking? When I hit low level mobs the damage is always the same.
Was this testing done on a creature your lvl?

i cant get ingame but if u dont mind mate can u try see if the damage
u take is different with and without a cybernetic arm on and off?
there are res stats so it either helps inate armour, does nothing
or turns inate armour off..


thnx loads go pwn those lvl 1-2's!!

Well, I think this post shold be /bumped

All TKM's should know this...before they get disapointed after spending hours trying to get all the "cool stuff" that don't work...

Interesting results.


What's your base melee accuracy? I know that there's a lot of talk about diminishing returns, so it's possible the +5 acc simply didn't make enough impact to show up. Have you tried it with a lower level char that only has, say, 80 MA, so that 85 is a big step up?


Other than that, a bit disconcerting....
