Now that i've finally made it to TK Master i need the best weapons. So if anyone can give me any info on how to make my VK's the best plz post here. I've heard that
cores are really good for VK's but cant find em anywhere. I've killed a few Nym's Npc's in lok and only come up with some Vibro motors which ive given to a Master Weaponsmith but only came
up with better speed. Plz let me know what components will give me the best damage results for VK's and if u could post your weapons specs that would be great as well. Ive heard a bunch of things
like Tissues and teeth but I still dont know where to start. Plz let me know where to find Cores and what materials were used in making your Vk's or any info at all. Greatly Appreciated

First, congratulations on reaching Teras Kasi Master.

Here's the lowdown on knucklers. There are three components that weaponsmiths can put into VK's to increase their effectivess. These are:
1. High Power Motor Units
2. High Frequency Motor Units
3. Advanced Core

#1, HP Motor, add to Maximum damage.
#2, HF Motors, add to wound chance %.
#3, Increases overall damage with an emphasis on base. (I believe.)

Parts #1 & 2 are dropped by Nym NPC's on Lok. I was lucky and found a +20 Max Damage HPMU after only 10-15 kills. I haven't used it yet; I'm holding out for Advanced Cores.

Advanced Cores require Desh copper. On our server (Radiant) this resource does not exist. Check with the surveyors and weaponsmiths on your server.

** Krayt Tissues can NOT be added to Vibro weapons, as I understand it. It MAY be possible to put them in the advanced core for vibro weapons, but my Smith on Radiant isn't sure, as we don't have the resources for them. ** I highly doubt they'll work.

There have been a number of "compare your knuckler" threads here recently. Do a search of the forums for "best knucklers."

Benny check again...they reduced the cost on moves for VK's and they will be reducing it even more next patch. I can do several specials with good efficiency HAM cost.

I highly recommend some Tat sunburns. You can also get melee powerups that reduce the special moves mind cost. Furthermore Grey Gabki (level1 spice) will further help your mind pool without the crippling downer of Muon Gold.

Clearly you don't want to use your VKs for KD moves, as they'll hurt your range.

Lucky **edit**, i had to kill no joke 250 nyms toget one +20 max motor and 3 high frequency wonding add ons.

I even stoped using my pets because i thought that it must decrease the chances of a drop. NOTE i don't think it does any more because when i finnally got frustrated i took the mauler out and comensed wholesale slaugher of nyms and finnally one droped.

I'm getting visions of "critical failure" when i go to make my knucklers or a speed slice now, makes krayt tissues look easy now doesn't it they drop 6 at a time

Krayt tissues are a joke right now. its so easy to get. oh and you say OMG they are 30k hps! ya well on average you get 2 per krayt and up to 11 from any single krayt, that could add 51% min and max dmg

ours adds +20 /twirls fingers

you will always find people hunting them, and if your a CH or know one, its a pretty easy venture.

CH + an AT-ST or two and you can just sit on the ground and go afk. It sucks to lose nym faction, and if your just a TKM and nothing else, its going to suck to get some of those.

again another reason melee has it hard , but hey we wear it like a badge.

i thought the rancor teeth replace the core of the VK?

Rancor Teeth = SWORD cores...

Someone really should make a sticky concerning knucklers. 10 posts a day and half of the answers they receive are wrong
