Why do so many TKA's think Teras Kasi is something akin to kung fu? First time I heard of Teras Kasi it was in the Masters of Teras Kasi game, on PS1 wayback when. One char in the game used the Art, Arden Lyn. She wasn't asian, and didn't have a rice hat.

Teras Kasi is more like inner-force adepts. When you think about it TK looks more like free for all boxxing anyway.

yeah, i'd expect it to be more ufc or pride fighting than anything else. besides it's the one's with the best mix of grappling and striking that often win these tourneys. the pure stiker usually loses easily (usually not always).

Well the moves look a lot like some easter martial arts and as Kung Fu has had the most coverage so one tends to related the things.

But there aint no Earth in SWG so no Kung Fu masters to invent it, and as it was invented by some humanoids that makes the connection with Earth MA very dim :-) That wont stop us ofcource from either making ourself look like Far Eastern MA or Matrix etc figurs :-)

Although TK use internal strength of the body, they have nothing to do with the Force itself or controling that. (if you meant that with inner-force adepts). They sure can control there Ki. Although some player made fiction and rules would make you believe we should be the number 1 jedi killers etc etc bla bla bla.
