Some go balance, power, meditate because they want to be able to take hits first rather than dish out. To me, the difference between a TK with power III is much stronger than a TK with balance III and much stronger than a TK with meditate III. At power III you hit so much faster than ever before and might even decide to ditch your VK at this point. I went power before anything and I would advise this to you as well.

I agree, you should do the power line first. The other lines are nice, but damage and attack speed are the core of what it is to be a TK.

Higher damage per second equates to faster XP gain, so PowerTech should be your main focus if you are trying to level efficiently.

im in the same situation basically, just hit novice the other day.

Ive pretty much decided to go Balance 1 for KD, this i think is a big factor in pvp. Lunge really doesnt do much unless you can KD them when you get in range. You need that extra few seconds to lay down unarmed hit 2. Ive found i get kited soo much without KD, and while im sure i will still get kited even with KD, i think that having KD will drastically improve PvP and add alot more room for tactics.

After i get KD1, im going straight up the power tree, i agree that attack > defense at first, then ill do balance, then meditate.

So imho, grab KD first, then get dizzy and work up the power tree. Then finish balance and meditate.

I've made it to TK Novice, but I cannot decide how I want to move up the skill trees, they all look good and I want them all first! What is the usual method of working up the trees to TK Master?
