I have never posted on the TKA board because frankly I consider myself a Rifleman not a TKA. I picked up and mastered 2 lines in TKA for the sole purpose of boosting my defensive stats. With all the changes that have happend sence then and now (Over a Month) I have decided to drop a line I had in Pistoleer and go ahead and master TKA. I believe with the new change to range having this as a back up is a must for my template, and I see using it alot more in PvP then I have to date.

My impressions of the profession are a positive one, again it is not my main damage profession. I have not spent anytime actually "leveling" as a TKA, because I use the Rifle DoT's, then tank the mob while the DoT kills it. It is very effective, and a little hint to people that do have Rifleman DoT's if you smack the mob a few times with UA then stop attacking, the mob stops attacking at 2 secounds and attacks at 4 sec. I dont use it much in PvP, but it is great against pets, seeing that I would take 2.5 damage if I tried to use rifle. Also knockdown2 has saved me many of times when melee get close enough. A quick knockdown, dizzy, then whip out the rifle, equals a quick kill.

I too am a rifleman/tka. I consider rifle to be my main skill, but i could not survive without both. Tka lets me stay away from town just about as long as please (meditation), saves me when mobs get too close, and boosts my mods a great deal. Rifle lets me stay at a comfortable range, hold my own in pvp, and solo (no pets)mobs like kimos, krayts, and goraxes.I put the rest of my points in scout and medic.
