Well I am! I was in a PVP raid on Theed. Now I know this isn't the best place for TKA to pvp due to the openess of Theed. But anyway I'm still just having a hard time. With the head shots from 30m I don't have time to do anything it seems before I'm down. Any suggestions?

Oh and Compisite doesn't help that much.

Mind is pretty much everyone's downfall (so take advantage of it yourself and go for head shots). What I've done and I've heard many others do is migrate points to your mind. While I was still TKM/medic I leveled each to 1000 with substats around 400-500 or so (I'm human). Now that I'm master doc (woot! reached it today) I have my mind maxed (1100 with 600 subs) and my other stats at 750 400 400.

I still throw on a helmet to reduce damage and occasionally take some muon gold if it looks like there's a lot of opposing players. If I'm inside, I'm tough to beat, get me outside and it a toss up. So far, I go down only if there is more than one player attacking me or if I'm attacked from a distance, of course.

I heard that they were going to increase the time that entertainer mind buffs last, perhaps to the same level as a master doc's HA buffs. That would be fantastic.

a) you have a itty bitty mind pool

b) your helm is crap

c) you dont have your defence tree maxed.

d) your useing a vibro and spamming knockdow, efectivly helping them kill you faster.

e) you have opted to not take any other skills to help you in pvp

Feel free to mix and match these as needed for your answer.

i have a 64% composite helm and at master i can take quite a few eyeshot/headshot3 and still be ok.

Well that's great. However 64% composite doesn't just rain from the sky.

It does on Lowca, and if they actually fix the krayt composite segments, we gonna be seeing some 72-75% ones unsliced.. =)

My BH uses a 80% sliced composite helm, it helps so much vs eyeshots, even more when they move eyeshot to the master BH box

Impressive, Baek. Any idea what materials are used to make composite with these stats? Maybe I'll have to get them myself for the armor smiths

ask around.... start asking EVERYONE you see wearing one what the resists on it are and who made it... soon enough you will know who it is that makes the good stuff. Talk to that person and get yourself one.

Just be prepaired... it isnt going to be cheap.

and if you by any chance are a wookie. then always fight in the prone position with the VKs equipted, this prevents people from saying they beat you, instead just say "im a wookie i know im better, im just trying to build your self esteme"

or you could get in the meditate position and....
