Well, to keep it short, yes. Almost all my stuff are bought off the bazaar.

Hmmm....so you don't actively try to make the best packs/stims you can? Do you sell stims or just make them for yourself? You think entertainer and wound healing I would be even better?

Hopefully I can get TKN as soon as I get back ingame, I should have enough unarmed XP built up from before.

Well to be honest I don't really care if the stim is 400 or over that, I will heal fully anyway, unless I am buffed and then I hardly need heals because I regen very fast. I never die from health/action when buffed.

Well I DO try to get the best stuff that I can, but I don't have the points to get artisan and get them myself. But I have a factory ofcourse so I can do nice thingies and I always keep my eyes open for nice quality resources. The baz nitches mission cash is dropping fast when I hit a nice seller

Hmmm...I think I'll go for it then. I'mbig on supporting those who take non-combat roles so I'll take missions and pay someone to find the resources. Thanks for the help

Good luck! I really like to heal people, and myself. I feel valuable and powerful, very rewarding in the fun-factor

I've been contemplating this template as well, but instead of Artisan, I'm thinking of Scout and Explore 1. It grants a slightly better movement bonus, and allows me to harvest my own meats ( which are usually the most expensive). Then to get the harvestor available resources, just pay a surveyor to find me some good wp's and plop down the harvestors.

Its just a thought

Here's what I did:

Right from the start I knew I wanted to become a Master Doc. I knew what was needed to become one because I was a BETA player.

In order to get enough resources for my medicine I also took up surveying.
Now, my career was pretty simple because right from the start I was in a PA, despite the fact that we still didn't have a PA hall .

I got all my harvesters from our architect. I kept on selling meds and healing ppl in medcenters in order to get funds to maintain my harvesters.

I made sure to hit Survey IV as soon as possible. About then I decided to go TKA as well just to be able to defend myself. I kept my surveying skills as high as possible up until I needed to drop down to level I.

There's one thing that I will never do though which is pay for resources. People charge ludicrous prices for resources.

The only thing you need is to plan your career wisely.

Let's say you don't have friends who can supply you with harvesters. All you have to do is start selling medicine or make money by healing people. As soon as you're able to buy a harvester get one. On Lowca you can get a small harvester (any type) for about 500-800 credits. Make sure you have enough money and power to maintain it. Work your way up until you can afford more or bigger harvesters.

Using bigger ones can be helpful but sometimes it's easier to just use a few small ones instead of a larger one to obtain the same amount of resources.

at the time of writing I can fully sustain myself. I got all kinds of harvesters for all needs, small to large ones, I make about 100k a weekend by selling meds. I buff myself with my enhancement packs and venture off to Dathomir to kick rancor ass all by myself )

Oh yea, I hardly ever go to the medcenters anymore.
Why? At least in BETA people knew how to tip medics. These days many ppl come barging into the medcenter, almost force you into healing them and while they're running out of the MC they tell you "sorry, I haven't got money" while they're running toward the bazaar.

These days I charge 2 credits per healing point and 3 credits if you want a priority healing.

In the beginning people laughed at me for charging money because why would they pay when they can get it for free from a novice medic/novice doc who still needs the XP?

They stopped laughing after they noticed I could heal pools with 500-800 points a pop, sometimes even higher. This means you're out of the MC in less then a minute instead of 10-60 minutes.

I love beeing a Master Doctor / Master TKA with survey I

MTKA and MDoc leaves you with just enough for Survey I, which sounds pretty painful to me. I was a TKA before with no medic skills (which is probably why I gave it up lol & I was tempted by flavors of the month) but now I was thinking of the MTKA and MDoc build. So does anyone have advice on what to do? Do you all mostly buy your resources from a third party?
