I've only played for a week, and i'm enjoying it totally.

(This must be the best game ever btw)

I'm just wondering.

Will the combination of TKA Master, CH and a little Medic skills be a good combination.

I want to be able to control creatures for ranged attacks and be able to heal myself for the melee attacks.

Sounding good or just newbie?

Pets are great if you want to tank level 70 missions and up to make quick cash.

Pets suck when fighting high level NPC's that run and shoot.

If your a PvP type person, do you think pets will be a satisfying way to fight?

In my opinion almost everyone having pets in this game makes it very unstarwarsey especailly seeing the same 4 pets all the time. But just the mass number of them is sick.

I currently have 1/1 in CH, its great for burning through high level missions solo, but not needed. Its a time issue, once you get higher up, do you want something to tank missions for you so you can do them quick, or would you rather take the burden yourself and thus have it take longer? The two professions ive chosen, only one gives skill mods to my fighting so having a little CH is handy to burn through missions. Ill probablly have to give it up down the road somewhere. All depends on what you want to do. Mastering Brawler is a fun idea to add to TKA, but really all thats going to do make you a melee PvP king. So long as your smart you should never lose to a master TKA if you master both TKA and Brawler. However, with new skill modded clothing with the exception of berzerk, you can get most of the master brawler bonuses by buying a fancy shirt/bandolier and pants.

Good luck.

My plan to TKM stopped at Novice after getting frustrated with the TK boards...

In the mean while, I am now a Master Brawler, and am on my way to Novice Pikeman. I plan on getting Novice in all 4 melee classes, and then some of the defensive and offensive trees of the other melee classes before venturing any deeper into TK land.

This path doesnt leave alot of room for stuff like medic and scout and artisan, of which I all love, but my defensive mods will be close to 100 in many areas.
