Thread: To All TK's! i need some input plz.
hey guys this is the first time on the board so forgive me if i ask a few questions that have been asked before.
Ok heres the deal. Im starting to get a bit bored of ranged fighting. IM looking into TK. I know about the whole unarmed grind and all but i need some input from you guys. I have heard ppl say that once they took up TK it has been there main style of fighting since. I am REALLY looking into going TK. I would like some Input from you guys first. Plz post your woes and cheers for the class. As far as weapons to grind TK what stats do you guys think i would be able to get ahold of with 70k? Also if I go TK im just going to drop my Art. skills. only have 0/0/0/3 anyways on it. I am 1/1/1/1 (about to be 2 in there somewhere) in CH, i am master scout (just like everyone else about
), and am master pistol (not sure which slot that is on the tree for marksmen) and 3 on support in marksmen. I am going to keep pistol as back up to help me in the grind but i would like all of your info on the skill. How does it hold up on harder mobs? Is it best to use when i get rushed or should i use it all the time? Thx for all your info guys!
PS: im not doing it for FS. At this point im just looking to have fun with the game and not fallow the fad.

It's cool you're interested in TK but anything we can say now will surely become obsolete within the next 3 or so weeks. If you read my *FINAL* UPDATE thread you'll notice TK got a serious boost in all sorts of ways on TC and when the patch goes Live TK will be quite a bit easier to grind.
For your 70k you will more than easily get yourself a maxed out VK (Or should) [Before slice that is..no one can guarantee that]
I'm not Master Scout and I'd only suggest up to Exploration 3 in Scout, 4 maybe for the Mask Scent. You seem like youre playing a diverse class set template so you probably aren't going to be a full-focus TK. In that case feel free to simply make sure you have enough points to master TK and drop whatever you want.
If you want to full-focus on TK you're going to want to drop enough to get Master Brawler. It is really a vital thing to have in my opinion, some might not agree with me.
I'd definitely use it all the time, I've been a TK since launch and I've supplemented it with all sorts of stuff and I still just use TK. But my current set up is : Master Brawler/ TK + Some pistol skills and Exploration 3 in Scout.
But yeah, with this months stuff going Live in a few weeks expect TK to be more of a standalone profession.
Glad to have your interest - welcome to the Teras Kasi community ![]()
