Thread: Question about armor and aa's

I am having issues and am going nutty over it so maybe someone can help me out here. My template is tkm/master swords/4000 doctor. I am using the xris acid sword. I have a +25 one handed damage aa. I already have my pernerf mabari weave belt used up and on me. What am I able to put this aa into and not mess up my innate armor? I've tried prenerf ubese shirts, guess they changed those to aa's now. If I wear armor boots or gloves will it take away from my innate armor? Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks.

You may want to hit the FAQ for more info but as I understand it, any armor will cancel out TIA completely. You'll probably just need to find a 1-handed ca instead.

Not hurting it, but completely negating it. When you equip ANY type of armor (including some helmets, apparently), you lose your Innate Armor abilities. Equipped and Innate armor don't stack. That's why I've always wondered at all the AA's out there for unarmed damage and accuracy and the like, when most melee guys have TKM in their templates and use the Innate armor. *shrug*

Unarmed damage AA's are nice, actually, in that they let you decide how you want to go about your business.

You can equip armor, negating your innate, but have better damage, or go with innate armor, and have better defenses instead.
