Thread: TKM/MD and which swordsman specials??

Ok this is for pvp, I want to keep TKM and Master Doc but I'm wondering what swords specials I'm better off going for.


1.Swords0400 for improved headhit


2.Swords0004 for improved critical strike


3.Something else ??


I know it's not the best template and a lot of the doc points may be seen as a waste, but not to other members of the group. I just want some specials that will do some damage since TK doesn't deal damage any more


Any advice is appreciated

Critical Strike does more damage that Head Hit.. So for damage the last tree is what you want to climb...also you'll gain melee accuracy bonuses....If you want extra defense go for the 3rd Branch, you'll gain 20ish melee and range defense.. Stick between those two branches

forget 1. and 2.

try swordsman 0031

xx3x gives you improved armor break and melee/range defense
xxx1 gives you critical hit and general melee accuracy

now you have 3 damage attacks:
1. head hit from novice swordsmann
2. adv. combo attack TKM
3. critical hit from swordsman xxx1

now take a katarn knuckler, slice him on damage (or maybe critical chance) and use a damage PU. now you have a 1k max damage knuckler!!

attack your enemy this way:

1. dizzy hit (lower defense, enemy takes more damage)
1. imp. armor break (much lower armor)
3. leg sweep (KD)
4. head hit
5. combo attack
6. critical hit

i have a +23 unarmed speed belt and with adrenal boost i hit every second under this conditions.
armor break is the best way to do damage.

i added SM0004 to my MD/TKM template for the +50 accuracy (adding damage to my tkm and basic specials with this as well) and the improved critical hit (best damage dealing hit - and less action then tk combo-3 it seems to me).

as i try to keep COB running all of the time during combat i dont need more defense mods (the +500 from improved COB technically maxes out your defenses - even if there is no max cab u wont see a difference adding more defenses when COB runs).

i agree that improved armour break will be another good choice from the swordman skills. i use the basic armour break from brawler 2h (which wont stick that often and wont last as long) - and even this makes a nice difference.

so SM 0004 or 0031 are both appropriate choices imho.
