I have the Katarn knuckler and Necrosis Nightblade, the Nightblade is ADK'd but I noticed that the Katarn does more noticable damage and close to the same spoeed, my unarmed speed is +135:

Nightblade is tier 4 speed sliced (12%)
1.8 base
380-761

Katarn is tier 2 damage sliced (4%)
2 base
372-743
120 elemental

Should I destroy the Nightblade to ADK the Katarn? I plan on getting another Katarn to do a tier 3 damage slice because I accidentally bio-linked before I could do the illegal core booster slice.

sell the necrosis

get a new katarn

fully slice it

adk the fully sliced one

let the other become a pve weapon till it dies

Katarn is better as it has a lower SAC, better speed (i dont know if all are, but ive got a speed 2.0 one) and awesome elemental damage.

Does slicing still bring with it the risk of the item breaking on use? It did for a short while, but then I thought I read that feature was removed. Anyone know? I just got a Katarn Knuckler yesterday, but I don't want to get it sliced till I know for sure.

They have removed the side effects from slicing now. It will no longer fail when in use.
