Yes, yesterday morning I made the last 50k to get to Teras Kasi Novice and just wanted to say hi! Also, I didn't really find it that hard I just got on with it, instead of letting the grind get to me. But, what I can say is this:

For all you people who are still on Unarmed IV!! Get a move on!! It's worth the grind.

Seriously, I went with a sharnaff group after I did the training did two lairs and made 10k unarmed combat xp. And, I'm pretty sure that's not much because that was only 4 bull's at each lair. Silly group kept running the mobs AWAY from the melee's. But, I was easily getting 3k xp on a lair... it was amazing.

Now to my question...

I don't have lots of money and I'm sure I never will. (Money making has never been an ejoyment of mine in mmorpg's) So, what armour would you guys recommend for me? Cheers!

most higher level TKA's don't use armor because of the encumbermance and their good melee/ranged defense. Since they spam specials their HAM's get eaten up bad enough, armor would make them useless (well, not completely). Same thing for VK's,most TKA's don't use them unless they are really good because of theHAM costs.IF you choose to use some armori recomend adv. Ubese armor and then get it encum sliced or try to buy a pre-encum sliced suit. cheers

yeah id say advanced ubesse in fact i have a set if you want it it hasnt been sliced i'll sell it to you for 50k whole set... i just dont use it

You know sometimes the question to armor or not armor is entirely dependent on how you want to play tka.

Sometimes your best job is to just stand there and be a meathshield... For that effect armor is king

Well, I've just noticed that I'm doing absolutely fine without armour at the moment. So I won't bother Untill I learn otherwise!

Just dueled my friend, who is a novice fencer... I beat him

I myself became a TKA novice only last night. Haven't seen any action yet (will try to get Master Medic today:smileyhappy but I've been using a set of Advanced Ubese. It kept me on my feet after getting UA4 and grinding for Novice TKA. I've been considering getting a set of composite instead, for better protection against blasters and the like, since I want to survive those faction missions where the MOBs tend to be the shooting kind. Should I get that composite or will I not need it as TKA?

Oh yeah. Forgot to mention... Sharnaff hunts work pretty well, even thou you won't be raking in any large amounts of xp at UA4, especially if there are higher lvl chars in the group who dish out high amounts of damage. If you have Advanced Ubese you can do well soloing Rogue Bagerasets. At UA4 you'll get 519 xp per kill and 600+ for the lair. That makes a little over 4,1k xp per mission, unless any babies spawn since you don't get any xp for those. And with good kinetic protection you don't take much damage at all, meaning there's little downtime...

hehe, I wouldn't mind composite. But, I won't use armour. I've decided against it Don't ask me why! I just have :-)
