Your proposed method is exactly what I'm in the process of doing.

Balance 1 is great to have due to the fact that it adds +15 unarmed toughness which will make a big diffrence

I am doing a similar thing. I am currently 2/1/2/2. First I got Meditate 2 for powerboost, then Balance 1. I'm half way up to getting to Power 4 then I'll complete Meditate and finalise with Balance.

here's how I'm doing it

0/1/1/0
2/1/1/0
2/1/4/0

and from there just fill the trees as you like. the 4th row will fill as you get your combat xp. So you just add the skill credits to as you need to.

The method you have described was recommended to me about a week ago by our servers oldest TKM, Mr. Char'lee Deft. I took his advice, and I have to say I'm satisfied with it. I was a bit lucky to have a TON of combat xp stacked from Rifleman, was able to trainII in the precision tree right away...Until I do have powerboost I've been eating a ton of food...and frankly after I have it I'll still eat a ton of mind food...

Sorry..rambling...just letting you know that the path you're considering is a high quality path...well illuminated, and offering refreshments at the gate.

I agree with getting meditation 2 quickly. Being able to heal poision and disease as well as boosting compliments everything else you are doing IMHO.

This is how i did it:

Thursday: Got novice tka

Sunday: had reached 004x (master brawler, no need for kd from tka)

Monday: 244x (got balance first)

Tuesday: tkm.

Why that order? Because getting power means getting more damage faster, wich means more xp faster. Then balance because it will make you thougher.. wich means less downtime wich means more xp faster. Then meditation.. because its neat, but doesnt make you get any xp faster.. IMO..

Yeah the best way IMO is to go forPower 4, then Balance 3, then Med 4, then Balance 4, and Pricision as you go. Power 4 becasue of the damage=morexp, and Balance 3 becasue you get your KD defense there. I hunted in Dant only and Pickets dizzy and lower posture too much, when I tried to get up, bam! On my back. I also hunted tons of Kungaas and they almost always use KD. When I got Balance 3 I was solid as a rock. Btw, if you want to get some good TKA xp, get Huurton Stalker missions, best xp and have no Kinetic defenses and they give 4.8 xp for a mid levled TKA after that, its Kungaas, 4.7-5k xp.

Hi there,

Sry if this is off topic but does 'I was a bit lucky to have a TON of combat xp stacked from Rifleman, was able to trainII in the precision tree right away' mean that when you drop a skill it's xp is available to train in a different skill? (assuming they use the same type of xp). That being the case, when I work my way up Brawler UA and get TKA, can I drop my Brawler unarmed skills + general combat and quick train in TKA? Might be a bad idea to drop Brawler UA but I'd be happy to lose my rifle skills to help with my TKA training.

Cheers,

Cha

I think you are a bit confused when he said stack xp from rifle. Once you get to a certain lvl, you willcontinue to get xp even after you reach lvl 4 or master. That extra xp can be used if it applies to another profession. When you get you 125k UA XP for lvl1 of the tree, you acutal buy that lvl with trading in the xp and loose the credits to pay the trainer. When you give up that skill, the points are gone, you will have to start over. I am a Master Commando working on my TKA and i have maxed out my combat xp at 300k. When i get novice TK i can get lvl 1-3 in the precision strike with those points. They are the extra points that I have gotten. Once you get to a master lvl, you still get xp till you max out the xp. Also you have to keep unarmed 4 becasue it is required for TKA. you can't have one without the other. I hope this answered most of your questions. If not I will try again in teh next post.
