Hey guys, I just wanted to know if UnarmedSpin2 is any good??? I used the first untill i realized VK+beserk were much better for getting novice... But fighting my favorite creature, Pikets, will UnarmedHit2 do me any good? And will it do any debuffs and stuff? What's the average dmg with my speed-sliced Stry'ker VK?

Hope i won't get flamed and in advance, thx!

Umm, you just asked a different question then your title dude.

To answer your title question NO unarmed spin 2 isn't any good.

To the question in the body of your post, yes unarmed hit 2 is good.

No, it won't bebuff and how should I know, you didn't include the statsfor your VK's.

Unarmedspin2 has it's uses if your serving as a agro attractive tank. You can hit several creatures at once usually causing them to keep they're attention directed on you.

If your fighting many mobs which are normally extremely easy.... but fighting several at once, this can be a good move to use to take many out at a time..... but usually it's not so usefull. Against higher level mobs just good for keeping they're attention.

Unarmedhit2 should be the attack you always use after landing the various debuffs available to you such as blind and stun, intimidate, knockdown, dizzy. No longer should you bother much with berserk except out of laziness or despair. Unarmedhit2 does no stat effects of any kind, it's primary purpose is to deliver maximum unarmed damage.

Unarmed Spin 2 sucks, almost the same damage as Spin 1 with twice the HAM cost. Stick with 1 if you need to drop a few things at once.

My problem with the spin moves is that they're not useful for fighting the high-end creatures you generally fight when you're higher level and into master. If you're out slumming with a bunch of critters that you normally would kill easily one on one, then the spin moves can be useful, but how often does that happen?

That's really dissapointing. the spin moves are one of the few things in this game that give any variety to combat. Otherwise it's just *debuff* *debuff* *spam UH2 or UH3*. Give me some tools so I can have a little something called STRATEGY. That is something this game lacks a lot of. The only strategy in this game is template building. If you have the right template you'll usually win. That applies to both pvp and pve.

Back to topic though I do find some use for spin 1 (don't have spin 2 yet). If I'm fighting like 3 or more guys i can hit each for about 400-500 damage. Ithat totals up to 1200-1500 damage done. I usually do any where from 1000-1200 with UH2. So as you can see you can deal a bit more damage over all with the spin attack, if you can survive the hits. If you can there are certain circumstances where spin attack is advantageous.

To me unarmed spin attack is only used against lower level opponents whom you could kill in a couple hits with a good UH2 or 3. A good example of for me at 2 4 4 3 would be huurtons or perkleks. You will not use this move if you have any respect for your opponent. However from a cosmetic and entertainment perspective, there are times when you can have fun with it. I even effectively used in it PVP and it added allot of fun.

For example I was dueling a CH with some creature that had 10k ham. I was fully buffed and boosted. I went off on the player first, and he ran off so I proceeded to attack his pet. Once I got his pet down to 75% using UH2, I noticed that the CH had come back into range and was firing his pistol at me. I also noticed he was doing no visible damage. Since there were allot of guildies, and opposing faction memebers watching, I started spaming Spin Attack 2. This caused me to hop around doing damage to both the creature and the player at the same time. This looked incredibly awesome from a cosmetic perspective and was a very fun way to show off. However before I could finish the job, the HAM costs started affecting my mind, and I went ahead and finished them off with UH2's. Useful? Yes. Efficient way to cause lots of pure damage? No

Most professions have a "AREA" attack which is less powerful than their main damage attack, but affects multiple targets. I have noticed that this attack seems to be greatly weakend in a 1 vs 1 scenario.

Fore example, I tested this move on a Friend who had unarmed IV, just to see how effective it was in one on one. This move was the only one that I ever lost to him on. This was not because he was beating me, it was because I was doing way more ham damage to myself using it than I was doing to him with the move. (I was also wearing armor and using knucks, IE massive ham costs). I do not use armor anymore since I am usually fully buffed, and I would easily kill him now even with this move.

Don't use it on anything you have the least bit of respect for. However if you are out hunting avian meat on LOK it can be a fun way to take out perks and flits.

The professions of this game are like 32 spice fiends in the same room with a few fences. Everyone is screaming for their their fix. If you try to give everyone a little bump at the same time, nobody will be satisfied and the screaming will never end. If you single out each one really hook them up , you will slowly end the screaming. I know my turn is coming, but it still does not ease the pain of realizing I am nobody's favorite ho. i like it, but to be honest i haven't compared the HAM and damage of 1 and 2. on the rare occasion where there are alot of critters near me, it's just too darn fun to evaluate the SENSE of doing it and i'll spin.

be sure to have combat spam in your chat bar or it won't be as fun. it's extremely satisfying to see yourself doing decent damage to many targets a once. it DOES have its place. sometimes it actually is the best move. like a pack of angry huurtons!

don't accidentally do it next to a nest you're milking, or you'll end up...well, really getting your HAM's worth before you get eaten!

From playing Warcraft3 I know it's better to finish targets off one by one so you take out the sources of damage and reduce the damage 'till there's none of them left instead of getting all the damage untill they all drop... I bet some mathematician could prove me right...

Anyway, thx for the replies guy, i meant unarmedspin2 both times in the article of course, just a typo

I'll use US2 when I'm hunting low-level social creatures for a specific resource. It's fun to spam it and then see yourself surrounded by 8 or 10 corpses ready for harvesting. Sometimes I'll use it just because it looks cool, but other than that I'd say it's useless.

If I'm hunting big game on the death planets I use it to take out babies that aggro me along with their parents.

I'm focused on mommy and jr runs up to me and starts attacking. A couple of US2's and jr's dead and I didn't have to move my target from mommy.

Yep, that's why I said IF you can take the hits. If 3 heavy hitting mobs aggro you take em out one at a time but if like 5 meduim damage mobs are hitting you with armor you could probably take the hits and overall you'd kill them faster than if you took them out 1 at a time.
