I came up with an idea for a new dungeonwhich happens to drop a new tk weapon, thought you might be interested in commenting on it.

Pretty good idea & layout, but I disagree with any weapons for TKA. We're UNarmed specialists, and why SOE ever gave us a bladed weapon is just baffling.

Very true
I just thought you may want an alternative damage type.
Many guild members have voiced this recently and was trying to take their views into acount

We're only as much "unarmed" as Swordsmenexclusively use swords (power hammer, anyone?) or Fencers exclusivelyuse fencing weapons (stun baton? gaffi stick?). And since when is a spraystick a "rifle"?
Don't take the names of the kinds of combat too literally. "Unarmed" should really have been named "Brawler" or "Hand to hand" (which incorporates small hand-held weapons, by definition). So, don't think of Unarmed as "unarmed", just think of it as the closest name they could come up with at the time.

Agreed.
But back to the point of this post, why electronic damage? Since it would essentially be a biologic weapon, why not acid damage? That seems to be the new thing these days. Or maybe it does kinetic, but has a definite poison DoT. Those two make more sense to me, IMO.

You should read my topic where I suggested that a true TK would be able to harness that aspect of the Force to create a strong electrical charge with every hit they land. Effectively allowing for multiple damage types without messing around with new weapons because a TKs power is drawn from their own bodies as you recall.

Both great ideas.
The reason why i posted this link was to get your feedback so thanks.
The reason i chose electric damage was to make the final creature very rare in that it does a damage not often used by other creature making it a very different and very rare creature, hense the hunt for it and the missions. I wanted to make this creature sound mysterious and why imperial hunters have been trying to get to the queen for years.Im not sure of theresists npcs and creatures have to electricity but fromwhat ive seen electrical seems to be less resistive compared to kinetic and acid on the majority of them.

If that was possible id be completely behind that suggestion.
I went with this aproach as it seemed more likely of being implemented

Point taken
From all my friends in game i get the impression they all want a new VK type weapon with a different damage type, how does the rest of community feel about this. Surely using knuckle dusters etc is acceptable, i mean it would still be hand to hand combat in a sense.

Nice idea minus the weapon. We are masters of Unarmed, and giving us a weapon would not only probably make us nerfworthy, but also ruin our role.

I would rather go on a quest to get a new special attack than to get a new weapon. I play TK because i like to use my hands.
