Thread: Post your best hunting spots here!
We might as well get the most hunting in we can before the infamous upcoming patch goes live. So after Baz Nitch and Nym changes, post the places where you, a mid to high level, but not yet master Teras Kasi hunts for experience successfully. What places are the easiest, what places are more challenging if you're looking for that, but still doable? What places have you had the most fun while making good experience?
By the way, by good experience, I'm talking either 2k+ in a relatively quick fight, or higher in a fight that might take a little longer.
Because there don't seem to be many good places to hunt solo for a TK anymore, I thought we could help each other out. I know at least some of you have to be doing what I am doing and that is agressively trying to get Master status before the patch comes out.
So, I will post on this thread too, but frankly right now I'm really looking for a better place to hunt. They only thing I can say now is that Snorbals on Lok are still good. The nests with Mature Females as the highest mob are all non BAF - great experience. And there are 11k mission to do these lairs. However, some of the 11k missions are for Mature Male/Elder Male nests, and those do assist each other when you try to attack them. I've managed to beat them but it was really hard and frustrating. But still, the experience off those is between 1500 for the small youths and 4000+ for the elders. All in all they are pretty safe, and always non-agressive to me (yellow on the radar).
I'm getting kind of sick of them so other suggestions are welcome.

giant baz nitchs and huurton stalkers/huntresses are what I hunt when I'm solo. Started going after rancor youths, gnarled rancors, rancors, and mutant rancors in small groups (don't attack the bull rancors unless you like spending 20 minutes in the catina, though).
Hey there Laurianna.
I spent quite a bit of time running back and forth looking for somewhere to finish up TK myself and eventually ended up back at Dathomir. The GBN are still good xp and doable solo if you aggro pull them away a bit before attacking back. Not sure how everyone else is doing but I was getting upwards 4500xp per GBN. I tried Dantooine and the Huurton's could be done the same way but the entire high end of the game seems to be unfriendly to melee.
With a group doing Bazes it goes pretty quick but that can be said for any hunting trip I suppose... btw, I could never seem to get the Snorbals NOT to BAF on me. Didn't matter what I tried doing I'd end up getting all of them at four or five.
If you haven't tried also... Talus is a decent place for quick kills but not as high xp payout as some other planets. I found a few different creatures there I could handle without problems of BAFs or adds from reds. Only problem was theywere so spread out it was hard to come by steady XP. I also went to Endor, there are plenty of aggressive meleeable creatures there you can aggro pull, but I didn't find anything I could normal pull without getting the entire pack. ![]()
Hope this helps at least in the sense of someone else's adventuring.

As a 0/2/2/1 TK I've been doing the Jabba's Palace Theme Park. Good hunting for those who havent tried it yet.
I'm about a half-day away from 0/2/3/2 and thats after only a night of running those missions.
The missions are usually mid-to low- level NPCs so theres good money in it (a lot better than the actual "awards"), and they send you out around some good XP-giving creatures and NPCs. Dragonets usually give about 3800 xp, and they're pretty easy if you can pull one. Kinda challenging if two come up on you though. Even seen a few Mountain Sqills which are over 4k, but they pack a whollop.
After I get the two levels, I may head back to Lok to try those Snorbels again. Havent been back there since the Nym change.
I've found that soloing Gurreck Forest Stalkers on Endor, with my wimpy pet (mail plains tusk cat, lvl 16, non enhanced) gives me ~4k unarmed XP (plus another ~500 CH xp a pop), ~5500xp for the lair. Plus i get about 9.5k credits per mission.
And all i wear is 72% kinetic ubese helmet, jacket, gloves and boots. and +4 Melee shirt/pants.
oh, a good set of VK's never hurts either.
Im taking crazed gurrecks still, just because theyre so nice to me. They dont aggro much, and are generally pretty docile. That said, the other night I kept getting swarmed because each gurreck lair I found was about 10m (or so it felt) from 6 other lairs of mobs, like Mereks, Bark-Mites, Boars, and god knows what else. So I would go from a solo fight with a gurreck to me fighting 5 mobs at once, all of whom decide to Mind bleed/Disease me (I hate you Barkmites and your stupid Queen) or just Stun/Dizzy/Blind/Poison me (I hate you Mereks). I ended up dying to a stupid mistake I made, and logged off in anger. I think Im going to go back tonight and try again.
The hard part for me is finding mobs that dont have insane Kinetic resists. I can handle 10k HAM mobs, but when they are practically immune to my damage type, it makes those 10k damage go a lot slower...
i did the baz nitch thing and escaped mountain sister slaves on dath and hit up some gurks on lok. mind you the gurks i would suggest buffs, and some good mind enhancements. but they pay around 3k

Did the same minus the CH ... Just get buffed and some high kinetic armor.
