Thread: Tired of people crying Nerf TKA!?

Like the title says, aren't you guys tired of people crying for nerfs to your profession? Tired of posts in your forum saying "<bla bla bla> I lost to a TKM, nerf them <whining, crying>"? I would be, were I you.
Let me give you some information about myself before I get flamed: I used to be a TKM. Not one of those holo-TKMs, but one who started w/ TK at release, and made master around oct. or nov. I was around for the KD nerf, the damage boost, the powerboost fix, etc. I'm an oldschool teras kasi artist. I'm not trying to brag, just letting you know where I'm coming from, that I know and respect the profession. My char was Zenom on Chilastra, some of you may remember me. I deleted Zenom days after the devs added def. acuity, to give you a frame of reference.
THE PROBLEM:
Anyway, to get to my point: You guys are getting flamed over and over and over again. Just coming into the TK forumsand browsing, there are TONS of threads complaining about how "overpowered" Teras Kasi Masters are. I don't like it, and I KNOW you guys don't like it, but what are you doing about it? It seems, now this iswhat Iperceive, that for the most part, you guys are just reacting to the flames and nerf cries. You seem to be holed up in your forums, clinging to the power you have, defending yourselves and flaming the whiners. This, while quite appropriate, is not helping. The cries don't seem to be stopping, and not a lot of ground is being gained for you. There is only a mounting feeling of "OMG, TK is 2 pow3rfu!" and who knows if the devs are noticing.
MY PROPOSED SOLUTION:
Instead of being reactive, be proactive. By proactive, I don't mean cry about other professions who beat you, or cry about people who stack defenses. I absolutely don't mean: flame first. That doesn't help establish you as being informed and mature. Instead, post about how other professions are underpowered. Yes, you say it time and again in the nerf cries in the TK forums, but where do you say it (out of the blue) in the other forums? Now, honestly, I don't check the 1h or 2h sword forums. But I lurk in the core system forum, and lurk in the pikeman forum a ton. I don't see many, if any, posts about how TKA is fixed, and the other melee professions are broken. Don't get me wrong, there is a lot of discussion about dps, defenses compared to other elite melee professions, and the one "hybrid" melee profession (which is pikeman, /snicker TH), but I typically only see that buried deep in some thread, and usually after someone has accused TKAs of being overpowered, or saying something resembling that.
What needs to be said is that you guys, as a whole and/or as a majority, think that the other professions need more attention. Sure, it seems to be common knowledge that pikemenget beaten like a red-headed stepchild, but how many of you vocalize it. How many vocalize it in a separate thread? How many vocalize it in other forums?
The way I see it, save yourselves from being nerfed by calling for more power to the other melee professions. If EVERY whiner cries about TKA, you are a very large target for the ol' nerfbat. If the cries are against melee in general, well you guys are a significantly smaller target.
IDEAS OF THINGS TO DO:
Post in other forums. Any by post in other forums, I mean begin new threads in other forums. At least show us that you sympathize, and that you're not jealously clutching to your title of king-of-melee (even if you secretly, or openly I suppose, are). Establish some "diplomatic" relations with the other melee professions. If you help them, I guarantee they will help you. Read about what's wrong with each of the other melee professions, and make new threads (again in non-TK forums) calling for fixes. Call for us to be brought in line with *you*. It needs to be said again and again, otherwise the combat rebalance will be a big nerf for you guys with no fixes for the other melee-ers.
You guys have the numbers, and if you're helping us, I know we can be fixed. I think this will be mutually beneficial, and so I've tried to present this to you in a reasonable manner. I hope you will not flame, but respond positivly. I hope the fixes for the other professions roll in, and I hope you guys don't get nerfed, because in all honesty, I love TKAs. The "award for sporting excellence" is in your court now. Please, act accordingly.

I too am Tired, half the people that cry nerf are loosers that don't know how to PvP. Then they come here to our board and complain that they are not the kings of PvP. They alsoembellish the truth and spout miss information, making the TKs out to seem over powered.
The moderators need to start deleting any posts that cry nerf. These posts are not constructive and they do nothing but harass the members that the boards were intended for.
