...may cast the first stone.
Seemed an appropriate statement for this post...
I got bored recently, so I thought I would check out Lord Nyax. I'm a Teras Kasi Master, and I got fully buffed and drunk off of Brandy and powerboosted. Soloing through his temple was pretty easy. Even the visionary fell pretty easily. (Yellow Con to a Master) Then I see Lord Nyax himself standing there all badass looking with 60k HAM. I think, why not. It'll be hard, but why not. Well, needless to say he killed me. I barely scratched him. Today came and went and I got bored again and figured the loot was decent killing his minions (I'll just stay away from him). Full buffs, etc, Temple is empty except for him. Figure, why not... Lasted alittle longer this time, and I learned it's probably impossible to knock him down. K... I died. Now in a bored rage, I ran BACK unbuffed and unbrandied and barely survived one wellplaced rifle round to the head. Force of Will, Equilibrium... I'm alive again... and far enough away for him not to care. As I'm leaving I see a man run in, obviously going after him. I stand back and watch the battle spam. He used Conceal Shot relentlessly for the next few minutes. Lord Nyax NEVER saw him. With just 5k HAM left, he pulled out some funky heavy swordsman weapon and finished him off. He probably got bored and this is why he did this. After it was all said and done, Nyax only hit this man twice for about 1600 total damage, and this was due to the fact that his composite armor was great.
Now, I am not screaming for a nerf of Rifleman, nor am I screaming for a nerf of Heavy Swordsman. I am just saying that before you go pointing fingers at us and crying, look around.
I am not pissed off because this rifleman was able to do something I wasn't. He just had a better strategy. Nyax's resist to Kinetic is around 80%. I really dont know what I thought I was doing in attacking him. There are also somethings that we can do that Rifleman can't. In a perfect world, every class will be sweet for their own reasons, and will be good at doing certain things.
I'd offer screenshots of the battle spam, but some of still might not believe me. Whatever the case, I know what I saw today, and it doesnt upset me.

well being both tka and rifleman i know for a fact that a rifleman can solo everything in game with concealshot and time...
it's just more boring to use concealshot than watching paint dry...

This is a great post, but sadly it will do nothing to make the nerf winers stop and think before they cry nerf.

my most succesfull solo at the great lord, TKM, 80% resist comp. buffed to high heaven, boosted, I started by intimidating him, then I did indead knock him down, then the unarmed hit 3 started in full force, bugger was dizzied and fell down again, when he got up and started attacking, I used a pixie and kept hitting anarmed hit, must have knocked 10k ham off him, then inevitably I incapped, used force of will, then ran like a little girl, was a sad day for my order, soon after a master creature handler shows, unleases his 3 grauls on him, wich dont last long at all, then the creature handler goes down, and unwilling to realise I was outmatched, I run back in there for more abuse, and abuse I got, then death, then a string of profanity came to mind.

I prefer to think of it as a form of Mantra....
