I was wondering about the usefulness of COB. For any proffession, does it really help? Enough to be worth using? When?

If anyone can prove it works and is usefull let us all know

But after months and months of having this.... while it does seem to do "something" that something is not of sufficient benefit to bother wasting the toolbar space.

With pikeman/swordsman/fencer the effect of COB is HUGEEEEE! as a master heavy swordsman, it would more than double the amount of counterattacks i would perform, and as a fencer, it basically = not getting hit. As a tk, i havent noticed any significant effect, if there is, it is minscule compared to the other melee proffesions.

I don't want to waste a toolbar slot at least not on my main toolbar. My thought was to make a macro, I've seen others using one so it's obviously possible but I need to know the duration of cob on a standard tk. Guess I'll figure that out myself.

Answer is about 30 seconds. so /centerofbeing; pause 31 go to slot 02
and in slot02 go to slot 01
always on

Anybody know how long it lasts for a regular master tk?
(no other melee classes in template)

No idea because Center of Being doesn't really do anything for a tka at all since our defensive mod(Defensive Accuity) either does nothing, or only just barely works once in a while; and center of being just makes your defensive mod fire more frequently.

You are pretty much better off just never bothering to use it as a tka. I'm pure tka on my character as you can see in my signature(my other professions do not help in combat at all) and I never use CoB.

I have long been aware of the perceived limitations on this forum but
my pa is heavy into pvp and probably the top tk on the server swears by it.
Anybody else?
