Thread: Did I Miss Something? Can People Heal While KD'd?
Ok...something I noticed that was weird last night...
Last night I got KD/Dizzy'd by a NPC (A Peko Albatross)....While on my back the NPC continued to spam me with KD/Dizzy...But I was able to use Stim B's on my back (or at least it appeared that way)...I've never been able to do that before...Before I usally got a message like "You can do that in your current state"...
Maybe it is just something I never really noticed before, but is this new? Can we now stim heal while KD'd? Has anyone else tried this? Was this something slipped into the latest patch or something folks have been able to do for awhile?
If people can heal while KD/Dizzy'd then I don't see the big deal with it anymore...I was able just to lie there and heal all the damage until the effects wore off and I could attack again...I also used food buffs and such to up my stats while on my back to keep from getting incapp'd...Before when this happened, I had to wait for the KD effects to ware off before I could do any of that...
Just curious if it's new or something I've overlooked in the past...
Were you trying to stand at the same time (i.e. spamming the stand key)? Even if you are dizzy and KD'd there is a brief moment when you are standing in that twitch and flop cycle. So you can do something like /stand;/healdamage or /stand;/somespecial and you will stand, heal or do your special and fall back down. I've heard of people actually incapping thier attacker while doing this...
