Thread: The Definitive Guide To DPS

Read the article. It also draws out the graph of the relationship between the speed modifier and attack speed. The graph clearly shows that if a cap were not applied, and your speed modifier were +100, your attack speed would be infinity.
The trolls sleep...

Lets PLUG some figures in shall we? can you use the software like a good little imbecylle?
Can you?
good girl
here we go.
TKM with dmg modifier 46-180 2.2 115 speed mod or 296-430, MITIGATED To 296-350
MHS With Powerhammer 3.1 152-452 75 Speed Mod Or 152-272, AP difference with vk= 190-340
BTW My swordsman friends, many of you who are as braindead as TKM, for daring to call me naive to have such a powerhammer with such 'low stats'
6.0 1029 =171
5.4 727= 134
I wield the best non looted, so piss off!
Lets plug the numbers in Unarmedhit3= 1292 DPS
Now their is no swordsman calculation, but you can use the carbine calculation burstshot2 with swordsman data for the DPS, for it is also a 4xDMG hit at 2.5 time modifier, just like two hand hit3- giving a DPS of 547
Learn a little better before coming at me with your small arsenal of complete bull

My my...I am sooo impressed by your arsenal of foul language.... ![]()
Perhaps if the light of intelligence shone in your eyes, you would be reverred by your peers, and they would forgive your transgressions...
Instead of the mad fanatism of self pity...
Begone pitiful creature... ![]()
Tired of this arguments is he...yet sure he is to respond to... ![]()
Not so tired thinks me... ![]()
Please provide documentary evidence that the damage modifier of burstshot 2 is equal to the damage modifier of a swordsman...
If you cannot provide such documentary evidence, pleasethen provide the reasoning behind the logic that carbine burstshot 2 is equal to the damage modifier of a swordsman...
Please also provide your clear reasoning why mitigation cannot be precalculated and inserted into the formula, as my original post suggested.
If you do not understand the requests above, please enrol in a suitable language class of your level, or, mature to a level of understanding that will allow you to understand the requests above...
Oh yes, and Tom...with regards to your power-hammer, actually you right, at least insofar as the theoretical calculations indicate. I actually did the calculation myself, though I was rather worried at first considering, as you have so elequently put it, wanting intellect... ![]()
Perhaps in future, I should select my speed sliced hammers... ![]()

Mitigation is dependent on ones opponent.
At mitigation Level 1- 20% of your dmg range is reduced from your output
At Mitigation Level 2- 40%
At Mitigation Level 3- 60%
The formulae calculates an aggregate DPS, the highest possible DPS is actually the maximum dmg of the weapon/adjusted speed. Adjusted speed is the delay modifier X base speed X(100-Your speed/100).
At mitigation level 3 you would take 60% from the dmg RANGE of my weapon
152-452 300 Difference, 60% of that is 180, 452-180= 272
46-180 134 Difference, 60% of that is 80. 180-80=100
TKM Get a Dmg Modifier of 250 which cannot be mitigated, brining their dmg range to 296-350
With Ap 2 against VK ap1= 272X1.25=340, less than 350, it is then impossible, even with skill tapes striking at once per second to surpass TKM DPS.
Just as designed
sigh

Yes...yes...taken directly from the player guides on this site. We have all read them...
Can you please post the location of the exact data for damage modifiers you frequently refer to so that we can also peruse it? Since not all of us have a stragegy guide? And also how the pikemen have measured their damage modifiers so that they can definitely say that their modifiers have not been changed? I find it strange that the author of the article and the program provided does not have such a reference, or does not use the strategy guide as a reference.

Tome I thought you said in another thread that the devs told you to "take it elsewhere"
please do
let us have our conversations about TKA
like we have been telling you for what seems like a year now
go to the swordsmen board and get your profession fixed
please TKA is finally where is should be
so quit trying to screw it up
*sigh*
I tell ya I am really REALLY starting to get sick of this crap
at first it was kinda entertaining but now I just want to kill someone
