Thread: Defence Acuity and Defence question....

Hoi, chums.

Just thought I'd step into these hallowed halls, and ask all you wisened Teras Kasi Masters a quick question or two.

First of all, Defence Acuity. Does it even work? What exactly does it do? Does it stack with other secondary defence modifiers, so if say, I'm a Pikeman and get alot of Defence Acuity from the TKA proffesion....do I block more often? Does it even effectme at all if I'm using another melee weapon?

My second question is one I'm not sure if anyone knows yet. With all the talk about secondary defences being capped at 125 in the latest patch (which I know doesn't concern most of you), I have also heard many rumors from people that the primary defence stats are ALSO capped at 125. We just don't see it. So even if my Melee Defence is 175, it really only functions at 125 when someone or something tries to hit me in melee. What are your experiences with this, those of you that may have other melee proffesions. Do you find a vast difference between 125 and higher?

Thanks in advance!

Can anyone help me with this? I would assume Defence Acuity is a pretty big part of the class, and so most of you would know how it works.

Defence Acuity ( and CoB ) are seen as broken skills by the TK community ( most of it ), the TK correspondant awared the Dev team about this matter and we are still waiting an answer if, indeed, Def Acuity and CoB are working as intended ( very low sucess rate ) or not.
