Thread: Great idea for power boost
Ok woo wrote than one a little too quick. Ok here goes since power boost is ineffective as of now (unless patch changed) they should change it to something that is effective. here is my proposal:
That instead of doing absolutely nothing have it give a quick boost to Speed as an idea to close the distance.
- Async with combat queue means you dont have to wait for it to reach the front of the combat queue. Kinda like how kneeling works not tumble to kneeling
- This would be TKA specific attack to keep us from being kited of

Aaah. So a speed boost instead of a power boost. Kinda like a burst run?
Not a bad idea, but I'd still rather see it buff Health and Action like nutron pixie. 1000 to 1500 in each stat, lasting for20 minutes or so. That just might be worth the 500 mind wounds.
Really no different than getting to know a decent smuggler.
Make it a quick chainable short speed enhancement async with the combat queue that is around pre-patch kd costs w/o knucks and visit your local chef when pvping.
I mean we would be able to catch and not just getKDd all the time. its good in theory
Add comments+ suggestions and no flames think my spirits are too broke right now

Yeah im kinda scatterbrain and tend to leave out important details... like the whole speed boost and not power boost. I just meant to substitute power boost. I think we should leave buffing to smugglers, and all i really want to do is close the distance, however that happens i dont care just as long as it happens.
Maybe we could get a snare that is class specific. Just trying to get a few discussion worthy ideas but kinda failing
I dont know if any of you are having the same problem, but Power Boost doesnt work anymore. I used to use it when Novice TK asked me what Meditate does. I would powerboost to get the mind damage and then tell him to watch my mind bar while I meditated. I used it alot to show folks that asked. Now it doesnt work at all, like it had a set # of uses.
Today, once again, a novice TK asked about it so I would Meditate andhit power boost, then when it failed i would stand up and meditate again and hit power boost ect.. I tried it no less than 25 times and never got it to work. He finaly ended up saying something like "Ermm.. I believe you and stuff,.. i'm going to go kill night spiders or something."Over the last month I would say ive tried it at least 40 times with no luck.
Power Boost, at least for me, doesnt work any more.

Actually, the devs may have disabled it for safety reasons. Newby TKAs were hitting power boost and getting 500 mind wounds with no way to heal them. Since PB had no discernable buffing effect, and such an amazing downside, maybe they just turned it off until they can figure out what to do with it. Kinda funny.... kinda.
