Thread: You gonna make a TKA master? nope. dont do that.
Currently Im making new character on different server.
That will be Master Carbineer/Bounty Hunter Carbine3/Novice Medic.
-now Novice Carbineer (0/1/0/0),Novice Bounty Hunter(0/2/0/0), Novice Medic.
and My main character is a TKM/master medic/novice scout (surrendered ranger /dang )
first off, Ranged class sooo fOOking easy to skill up.
second , Ranged class can kite Red mobs so easy still. ( How unbalanced)
third , TKA just joke at PvP.
I think u guys all know above I said. but you will get hurt if u make RANGED CLASS and compare it to TKA master ( I say MASTER TKA. not novice )
thanks for reading.
......................................... *looks around*
.......What??
TKM are useless in pvp you say??
then how have my friend and i (both TKM) have been to theed the last 3 days in a row, and have had an absolute slaughtering.
We clean up the imperials like they are nothing, until the giant chicken walkers come out to play, lol
there is nothing you can really do against them ![]()
but like i said, we absolutely kicked butt up and down the theed plaza until the ATSTs came out to play.
so if TKM suck soooo bad then how come yesterday i got 11 kills, and 2 deaths?? ya, gee, i suck reeeaalll bad ![]()
However, i do know how you feel, or at least i felt like that once. I learned PvP strategy for Teras Kasi is EXTREMELY different then PvE. The thinking, attacking, defending, etc are all very different.
I learned that when i was a crappy teras kasi master, that it was user error ![]()
Maybe you can seek out and find some TKM that like pvp on your server and see if they will help you out ![]()
they do exist ![]()
Good luck man, i hope you can find some PvP fun as a teras kasi, its an absolute blast for me, but it didnt used to...so keep at it
Pyradius,
Like Mr. Pheonix said, any problems you're having is user error. (aka ignorance of your potential)
You just don't know what you're capable of. Anyone can claim how useless their class is out of experiences they've had, but being stupid and useless is a galactic majority my friend.
It's the elite...the truly understanding tacticians...that are the ones standing over corpses while the other team is waking up in the cloning center together thatcan truly speak for us TKM's. I was a witness in person to his attack on Theed. I was there with him and you cannot argue with results. He was a force of nature and there were none that could stand against him, not even bounty hunters for there were two present at that fight. He was, however, mortal and inevitably died a couple of times, but anytime you can walk away from a large fight like that and have actually GAINED faction points, you have reason to brag.
Pyradius, you factually and unargueably don't understand your own Mastery. The far majority of the people in the galaxy use blasters of some sort...and the far majority of people in the galaxy are ignorant, uneducated and generally sheep among a few lions. Is that coincidence? As yourself again and again until you understand, than act on your newly found light. Die and die again in PvP until you have your technique down. You will find your rythm, you will have bad days and good days, but you will become elite if you put some work into it.
Rock on Master Koozyo
Because you have a big ass pet. Duh. Try running at some guy that has a gun without your pet and enjoy your death.

LoBai,
You make several mundane assumptions in your post. That's okay though, because you sound pretty mundane. First off I never said I was unsuccessful in PvP. And you want to know why? Most marksmen don't play their class well. It has nothing to do with me being good, it's to do with them being bad. I am more than well aware of what all my neat little combat moves can accomplish in combat. That doesn't change the fact that any semi-competent ranged attacker can kill a TK with very little effort. If you personally haven't found anyone that knows how to play a ranged class remotely well, then count yourself lucky.
