Now first off guys this in no way is meant to be serious...it is strickly a spoof to be taken as humorous or just entertaining so keep the Fire to yourself and in no way serious...I am happy with the way things are going right now and finding myself enjoying the game again ..ok?

THIS IS NOT SERIOUS>>>WARNING THE SURGEAON GENERAL WARNS THAT PEOPLE WITH NO SENSE OF HUMOR MAY NOT GET IT!

Well I read this and it is becomming obvious that we can rant and complain all we want...but the fact is, just because we pay thier Salaries, the Devs dont think it necessary to listen:

Tark We are well aware in the community of the ongoing changes to the game all in the name of balance. While some of these changes are very welcomed by the community, how do you approach a change that you are fairly aware is going to cause sour grapes, yet know you need to change for the overall good of the game?

Q-3P0: ......Currently we are trying to bring the "fix" to the community earlier to get their feedback. We may not go with popular opinion of the forums, but we want to get their feedback to avoid mistakes.

We may not go with the popular opinion? Translation: I never went to school to learn about the basics of how to run a business by satisfying the customer..we are only concerned about what we want so what the hey...I will will just ignore them and run this game into non-existance!

Tark Is the player base advancing as planned? What measures are you taking to ensure the game remains fresh for everyone (power gamers especially)?

Q-3P0:....Some people argue that these games don't really start until you have maxxed your character. I'm not sure I agree with that philosophy, but I do think there is more to the game than watching an xp bar.

rrrrriiiiiiggggghhhhttttt....what freaking game are you playing? Not sure you agree with that philosophy? Man you dont agree with much that is the reality of this game do you? I guess I focus on Missions not because that is the only way to get XP or the only way to make good money since I am not a Armorsmith but because of the same reason people climb mountains...because its there! Oh come on..that is exactly ALL this game is....how can the game not start until you max your character...most mobs are so freaking hard that you have to max out your character before even thinking about playing into other aspects of the game. Oh Im sorry there i9s another aspect to the game...the cloning station!

Q-3P0:....The game is built around a lot of social systems to get players to help entertain each other. I'm not saying that as an excuse for us lacking enough content for power gamers.

Obviously it has been the oustanding, all time champion of why your lacking in content on this game!

Tark Will we be seeing more diverse quest/theme parks? Currently the majority of missions are: go to point a, kill lair rinse repeat. Will we get more diversity? What are your plans to address this?

Q-3PO: Definitely. The simple "terminal" missions serve their purpose (short session play) and we have enough of them to do that. Based on feedback, we've added several more of types of mission terminals (Artisan, Entertainer, Explorer). Going forward we are focusing our efforts on more diverse missions like the ones you see on some of the static NPCs or in the Themeparks. The trick is to make ways of them being worth more to the player. Multileg quests sound more interesting but the convenience of the terminals makes it hard to wean players away from them.

Oooo pick me...pick me...Man I can answer this one...Make the other missions worth a rats nether reigons!

Artisan and Entertainer missions suck and pay zip! One of the first things you guys said when the monthly stories came around was that "No, they will not pay alot or give tons of XP.." yet you say we need to figure out why people are not using the other terms or going to more theme parks? You say "The trick is to make ways of them being more worth more to the player." Praise God he has had a revelation! No kidding dude...you just answered your own delima with a question!!!! OMG

Tark We have heard you mention the ability to add new professions when needed; people are very excited about this especially with the mention of the Elite Elite Professions. How will you address balancing these new professions against the current ones? How will you address the skill points cost issue?

Uh can I answer this one?,,,,,,NERF!

i read the warning, and **edit** like this is going to get locked, unless as we suspect no devs read the TK boards......

it might be funny, but your bashing the guy that you pay money to for a product....thats kinda like telling the guy that has your 66 ferari in the shop, that he is fat and lazy....while your cars in the shop.

funny? no coment, but ya i read the warning, i know your just trying to spoof somthing off, but, about the game designers and the head of departments of the game....that wich they do read these boards, that isn't a good aproache IMO.

most likly this thread will probably get locked.

it was a little fun, but i bet you all my credits, that those guys listed in that interview, earn thier paychecks.

they probably spend 15+ hour days on this game, grinding out time, and testing, and still missing massive content, and having to refix that each day, day in and day out.

i bet that as well as doing that, and public relations...and meetings with your boss, and george lucas wants an update, and posting on these boards, and reading feedbacks, and reading bugreports, and investigating possible exploits, and talking with a few disgruntled customers, and talking with a few fusterated developers, and coming up with an idea or theory to solve X problem....that these guys work their asses off to produce or try to produce the best product they can.

funny ya maybe, but i bet if we really knew what they did, it would not be justified.

I like the warning in the top post. It's like walking up to a stranger and saying, "This is just a joke, so you can't be mad. If I was serious, I would punch you in the face." and then punching him in the stomache.

It's good to see I'm not the only one who thinks Valkari sounds very feminine.

VAL!!! hahahahaha.....

Chill out sweety...look I work in IT and I have 323 users to myself and I know exactly what those guys are dealing with....I have worked the past 23 days straight including weekends because of upgrades, change in our network topology, new protocols and procedures not to mention fight sobig and the welchia worm. I have heard it all, worked sleepless nights, fix crap that the same people keep breaking, dealt with security breaches (and I work for the DoD so when that happens its serious) and the like.

I know what they are dealing with on a whole nother level...I bet they read it and get a kick out of it!

I would...we get teased all the time by our users and J6 administrators....It was a farse, a spoof sweetheart.

Stop being serious all the time...life is too short. Love ya!

Are you new to MMOs? CS in an MMO is alot different. The developers think long-term. Most of what the players wantis bad for the game. Most of what the players want will be ignored and should be ignored. All this game lacks is content. Professions are imbalanced but I have said from the get-go that the ability to mix & match profession would make balance impossible. So I don't really care much about balance. It won't happen.

The worst thing SOE ever did was put these forums up for all the MMO newbs (SW fan-boys) who understand nothing about game balance and the grand scheme of things in an MMO to run around here whining and griping about how they just got "nerfed."
