What do you guys think about the TK health cost for specials. I think it sucks. You can't fight with TK unless you have strong buffs and brandy. Otherwise, most of the damage is done to yourself. I think it has to be lowered.

All of the professions ham costs are jacked. not just tk.

Unequipe your VK sometimes !Don't spam UH3 over and over with you VK on or use some food and drink.
I am doing well with my TKA skills and I am barely under Doc buffs and I also don't use a 80% kine resist composite.
Sure, some profession such as pistoleer can spam their specials without a huge HAM cost but TKA moves cost isn't that bad.
Note : my template is master TKA, master carbiner ( talk about insane HAM cost ), Fencer Blademaster and novice medic.

I don't use VKs much if at all, and rarely use Unarmed 3 if I am not buffed - Unarmed 2 is much less of a HAM drain, and I prefer pool-specific damage anyway. I onlyneed to take down one pool, not three.

yeah, usually i don't use unarmed three while fighting in PvP, i use mind hits because people rarely buff mind. The thing is, when hunting larger creatures i like to use unarmed 3. Takes em out a lot faster for me. You guys suggest a better way?

I have become fond of Combo 1 - it does according to all calculations 65% health damage over time, and the rest mostly into mind. It beats Body Hit for direct body damage. Before I used to spam a couple UA2s, then target the pool that was the lowest... usually health.

When I PvP without buffs I usually wind up killing myself, maybe you should try not using knucklers the HAM cost is way lower.

Spamming specials is not a tactic....
I have to assume that is what is happening without more info on what different combos and fighting strategy. As said above, everyone is in the same boat... Haven't been a Master Carbineer for awhile, but it was truly horrible.. (no where near as bad as TK, as far as HAM costsIMHO)
