Well... incase I missed Teras Kas Artist 101 we are a UNARMED class, ne? Now unarmed would mean no weapons.... sooo, umm. Yeah. Lots of bitching about PERKS for a class. Whatever TK gets from the RK will be a welcomed addition to my arsenal and ill happily accept it. Sorry but this is a quasi-flame. Im a TKM myself, and a MCH, so let me bring up a few things on some of the stuff ive seen in this forum. Everyone is completely flipping out that TK might get "nerfed". Well normally I would consider a "nerf" something that makes a Class weaker then its original incarnation. Originally the ENTIRE TK tree gave a +71 to Unarmed Damage (thank you useless Prima Strat Guide) where as now NOVICE TK gives +70 to Unarmed Damage, with an additional +70 at Master, and +15 at every box in Power (IM probably wrong, it might be +50 +50 and +10 in all boxes, dont quote me.) TK can still attack at an ungodly rate of speed as well, same case as the Damage modifier before it was not like this originally. Even if its "nerfed" to the proper 1 second cap youll still be out damaging alot of things. You want NERF, go look at the CH forums for just a minute, and then bless your starts the DEVs LOVE YOU. - Chymaera

There is not much we can do if they nerf us.

This profession does have a lot of power.

Although I think its weird we can heal wounds while meditating, and not BF.

BF seems natural to be able to heal?

Do we have to be dependant on lapdancers to get our minds clear before battle?

It could be a nice mandovila sonet instead of a lap dance, ne? The point of us not being able to heal BF (as I see it) is that Battle Fatigue is amassed through a mental not physical shock of comabt. In my opnion the greater our BF the weaker our meditate should become, healing progressively less wounds until it is useless. Teras Kasby terms of flavor text is a proffesion that strengthens the body through the mind, so if the mind is fried from battle it should seem that a TK would not be able to reach the level of concentration to perform the rigorious activites demanded from a TK.BF makes damn fine sense, who wants to go out and beat things up all the time and power game, it forces us to go to an entertainer and socialize (though for the most part people come in, sit watch/listen and leave unappreciative) which should help to build a stronger community. My two cents on that portion of your post.

Ok where to begin... Unarmed is not a literal phrase. It is often used to describe fighters using any "glove-like weapon" such as brass knuckles, boxing gloves, tiger claws, cestus etc. You want examples, pay attention in your history class. Romans and Chinese/Japanese had "Unarmed" fighters that used variations on these weapons. Also before some one starts in again about armor and TK, there have been demonstrations where people have been dressed in full plate armor and done cart wheels. This shows that armor is only as restricting as the person using it. With proper training Armor is not an issue. Also I dont know what you are talking about with the ungodly speed. There IS a speed cap, at least every TK I am friends with hits AT the cap not faster than it. And every Riflemen, swordsman, fencer, pistoleer, etc that I know hits at that same speed cap. Its called attachments. So that negates your statement about speed. If anything you should complain that the other profs shouldnt be able to hit at 1/sec. And I too was a CH once. It is sad what they did to a once useful prof. But why wish that on other profs? TK doesnt need a nerf, other profs need to be unbugged and have there abilities fixed. It is that simple. When you add to the issue that we are usless against 3/4 of players in raids and PvP do to the prevailence of 80+ armor and a variety of easily obtained food, I would say we are just fine where we are.
