Hey Peeps.

I was thinking of becoming a TKM with my human ranger my most played character, because I have been playing a TKA Transodan on a different server and find it most satisifying.

But I know there is a big difference in the strenght of humans to Transodans and also different regen stats too.

So, is a human still a decent enough TKA?

I'm really looking for some good advise...

i'm a human tka.... would NEVER go back. love it, soo much stat freedom.

Im a Tera Kasi human and have had no problems whatsoever- My stats are set at 850 Health 850 Action 1000 Mind my secondaries are at bare min with the exception of Willpower which is 700. At first I thought having such low H/A was goin to hurt but I love my mind regen.

zabreks are the best for TKA they get defense bonuses great willpower. ooooh ya and the best thing off all equilibrium.that alone makes them the best.

Well Trandoshans are technically the best because of their unarmed bonuses, but yeah zabrak have some nice bonuses for tka.

I disagree withthe people above. I say Humans make the best TK because of their stat migration freedom. All Humans can migrate all 9 stats from 400 to 1100. This means you can address the fact that most TK are killed by their Mind bar and not health or action.

I am a Doctor/TKM with the following stats:

Health 400
Strength 400
Constitution 400

Action 400
Quickness 400
Stamina 400

Mind 1100
Focus 800
Willpower 1100

I am always buffed so my health and action stats are typically close to over 2k. I wouldn't suggest my set-up if you don't have easy access to buffs.

Wookies by far are the best. they are the strongest of all the classes. less fight time = easier wins.

I'll stick with my Trandoshan with unarmed bonuses to defense and attack and restat myself for more mind

I am a zabrak and have maxed all my mind stats. I have not tried other classes and I am still kinda low in the tka tree (2.1.2.2) but it works very well for me. I am a master doc as well though. I am always buffed.

well, like the other have said, if you go doc, then human will be your best bet. Why?

They can have 1100/800/1100 in the mind stats. Not even a zabrak can do that.

I wouldn't go wookie if you want to pvp, they can't wear armor. And armor will save you in pvp.

Dosh is good for the begining, but in the end as masters, their bonus isn't that over powering. And having no gloves or boots means no armor there for protection, once again bad for pvp.

The only races that are really good for pvp are zabrak for their race bonus and equalibrilim. But they have lower secondary stats and will have to buff to use armor or lower hams to use armor. Not a big deal, but that's what it is. Humans i think are better, with the stat caps they have and flexabilities there. They can heal mind and regen as good as any zabrak if you move the stats that way. Having 400 in all secondaries means full set of ubese no problems.

But in truth, all races can do well, some better than others, but they can all perform well if you play smart. I personally love the 1100/800/1100 in mind that i have as a human. Cost me 57 mind to heal, and regens before i can even say "E chu ta".

have you ever tried equilibrium? no i dont think you have....

trado dont do that much more damage. with nothing atnovice brawler i did this test just to make sure. my brother makes a trado i make a zabrek we fight no speicals he hits me for 37 dam i hit him for 32 damage. 5points is nothing.

yes, human is still good enough. you'll be FINE.
