Thread: Screens of an overpowered TKA in action. Warning he doesn't have Master Brawler

I originally stopped crying nerf on TKA for a few seconds and people still one-starred me. I dueled a few TKM's and here are the screens of the combat logs. Master Swordsman/Master Brawler with a neutron pixie buff, synsteak food to mitigate the damage and 52% composite armor vs. a powerboosted TKM without Master Brawler, without armor and other buffs. The screens are a little blurry but hey, if you are dizzied and knockdown you are a little dazed and cannot take good screenshots. This is so lame.

Hey cakey here is a postfrom a Master Swordsmen. Brawler combo like yourself that SOLOed the Gen cave.
By your argument swordmen should be nerfed too right? I mean this ONE guy soloed the whole genosian cave, an advanced dungeon? so what do you think about that?

First off, I am SAD that I could do this. I am a Swordsman,
Brawler combo, wearing a Ubese Chest, legs and one bracer
(the rest had fallen apart earlier). I was buffed, had mind
food and spice.
I am not some Commando/Smuggler who flames and then
flops on the ground for 30 min.

Sony, please please please make this game harder.
Point is the same, i should not be able to do this. It was not
my intent to have the Mobs attack it, yet they did. Should
they have? No. Should I have even been able to get to
Acklay solo? No. Should I have been able to get within
100m of the "boss" mob solo? No.
Make the game harder.

This one was a funny example:

What a silly statement, really. Let me turn this around for you TK fellas.

Think man, think.
Personally I would leave them all the same.. They are both stupid examples.. I would just have a long finger.
And if it was my middle finger it would be great anyway , my response to the NERF criers would be greatly aided...

Ok cos I got bored i looked at these screenies again... Its strange, but you seem to be in a PvP battle, with your skill tree window open, your text half way up your screen, made no real attempt to attack your target, were not taking any damage what so ever... This is the one I love, during the first two screenies you were on a pixie downer but didnt get incapped for however long the fight lasted after that, then the third shot shows you "didnt have enough points to..." then you got incapped and that one shows the downer worn off, then the other guy ended the duel and healed you..
So, considering you were on a pixie downer , not attacking and taking seemingly no damage from the TKA to the point where you drained what little HAM you had left.. Then got incapped.. Erm.. Wait..
Sorry I completely lost track there , what was my point again ? Someone please tell me... Oh yeah , I think TKA arent hitting hard enough based on this evidence.
(sorry if its all been said before, which it has, apart from the pixie thing I think, but the boss walked past)
(also I don't do drugs , so I am not sure but judging by the ham bar you should have been incapped if you were sneezed at)
I havent been beaten by a TKM in the longest time. I am tkm/mfencer/mswordsman, even if I do get KD I get up fast, you can KD a tka easy. If you are armored and buffed it will be very hard for them to take you down, why? becasuse they will kill their own mind by spamming UH3 or Nexu grin.. If you hate being knocked down get food that ups your defense vs KD and quit whining.
Offensively I hardly use tka attacks unless my opponent is unbuffed/unarmored if you are serious about PVP as melee fighter you have to understand your opponents weakness and streanghts, I have mastered all melee professions and played them in PVP this is a short breakdown of my expierince:
TKA: advantages: targeted pool hits, speed, high damage vs unarmored opponents
disadvantages: high mind cost for specials, limited damage type, vulnerable to KD+DIZZY
Swordsman: advantages: mind specific attacks/bleeds, high damage, high defense vs stun, strong area attacks
disadvantages: vulnerable to KD, low accuracy, high health action costs if unbuffed, accurcy just terrible (but KD opponents get hit a lot
Fencer: advantages: fast attacks, stun damage capable, high defense vs KD and high ranged/melee defense, good accuracy
disadvantages: lower damage rate compared to other melee, high mind cost for specials and weapons, limited AP capabilites
Pike: Im sorry pike is just really bad right now...has good defense vs dizzy...
All: we are kited
All professions have shortcomings, learn to exploit them (in a good way) to gain and advantage.
Or combine them like I have and you will be able to fight effectively against other melee and ranged opponents. If you are defeated by your counterbalance proffesion do not whine about it, learn and adjust.

Quality - And definately worth 5/5
I have to say you captured what i think on a daily basis perfectly.. If you play a game you must adapt and find a way to win, not change the way the game works so you don't have to think and change your strategy..
If I bought a game and when i hit something challenging I simply found a cheat, I would have just blown £35-£40 (yes thats the queens pound - heh).. Because once the challenge is gone, what have you got left but some nice graphics and a way to waste your time..
No, YOU need to think. We want you pulled up to our level, you want us cut down to yours. Which do you think is really more fair?
