Very nice FAQ. However you may want to update it. The section about bleeds is no longer valid. Also a suggestion of when branch to go up first would be great.

Look at the link in my sig for an updated FAQ

It still needs some work, but its a start.

No longer holding out hope, SWG will never be the game we fought so hard for, that we believed so much in. Farewell friends.

Just got to TKN, so here are some things I learned along the way. I was actually playing, not trying to powerlevel, and didn't have a lot of cash. Most of these are for the unarmed line.

1. Corellia generally has higher paying missions among the starter planets. (Didn't try Talus, so I'm not sure about that one. ) Combine that with an improved job market city and you can get missions that pay 1200 that are easier than the lesser bols on Dantooine.

2. Naboo has a greater variety in their newbie spawns. If you get bored with gubbers on Corellia, then give Kaadara a try, but look out for ST's if you're rebel. Stay clear of the diseased nunas. I know they're tempting but disease is a pain if you have no easy way to get rid of it (yet).

3. If you don't have a ranged weapon, but do have scout, traps are good at getting the attention of something far (50m) away. I don't know that the traps really help that much though. I used wire mesh and stink bomb.

4. If you get fed up with all that, get some medic, stim b's, and some brandy. Get some cheap knucklers, use berzerk.Go to Dant for those lesser bols. I was getting close to 10k xp for each set of two missions. (I thought that using the stims was cheating since I didn't want to become dependant on medic, but unarmed4 to TKN is a long haul. )

5. When you get TKN and if you aren't tired of lesser bols yet, you can take those missions and attack the lair. You'll be amazed at the pile of giant bodies you can create around you.

But anyway, I kept spending all my cash planet hopping so don't have a great set of armor. I got tired of lesser bols. So what is a poor TKN to do next?

I just started Brawler yesterday to work on TKA, and I just got novice aftersomewhere between 5-8hours of play. The best way I've found, is once you hit level III unarmed, which shouldn't take long if you just kill all the crap outside of cities like Mos Espa -- really, anywhere in Tatooine is great for this. Tons of low level spawns.

Anyway, once you get Unarmed III, get buffed in Coronet and head to Dantooine. Get the quenker missions. They pay 5k, which is ok, but the good thing here is the xp. You'll get 2,500 xp for each kill, and they never spawn more than 2 at a time which makes it easy to handle. On average, I get 15,000 per lair depending on how many babies spawn. I was getting roughly 45k of xp an hour, since you can kill pretty much non-stop. You won't kill them very quickly, but as long as you're buffed, even without great armor, you shouldn't have any problems. Just keep an eye on your mind meter! Action and health should never get too depleted, but after every wave of 2 or 3 quenkers you're gonna want to rest your mind.

Instead of planet hopping, spend your money on buffs. In the three hours they last, you shouldn't have any trouble getting over 100k xp.

great guide, I am trying to get the loots for the Uber VK you mentioned. Which of Nym's guys are they found on, there are three types of "Nym's Elite NPC's". There are elite guards, elite pirates, and elite patrols. Could you clarify this for me? thanks.

The only thing I have to say about your FAQ, besides the fact that it is a great FAQ is that I have caused bleeding with TK. I usually do combos of Dizzy1, Knockdown2 and then Unarmed hits or normal damage until slain. I have noticed that there are bleeding wounds about 5% of the time. I havent been paying attention to what bleeds them, but I will start paying attention and get you a wee bit of info on it, and if it is unarmed or with a VK

I'm fairly new to the game so please excuse any ignorant statements. I have Mastered TK and although there is no specific bleed action I have made mobs bleed while fighting them. I haven't pinned down the exact move that does this and it is not very common but it does happen from time to time.
