This skill doesnt have much use anyways because of how short the incap timers are.

Could become very important again though, with the DB timers.

Are they working on a fix for this yet? I was dueling a jedi the other night, finally got incapped after a nice long fight because i had no buffs and ran out of mind. Force of will would have been really nice since you can't deatbhlow immediately, hafta wait for the timer. Happened again today i was dueling a TKM...MD i think for second prof. Another nice long fight, I probably would have won except another imp ran up and helped him finish me off. With force of will i might have been able to get back up long enough to finish off the first guy.

Then there's the usual PVE that would be very handy to have FoW actually be useful. Either they need to fix it so you aren't db immediately and FoW actually gets you up like its supposed to, or make it a self rez or something, but do SOMETHING so its actually useful, instead of just a worthless ability.

Id completely forgotten about FoW actually, it doesnt waste space on my toolbar anymore so id never wondered about it being fixed. I wouldnt hold out too much hope for it though. When did you ever hear of an ability being made better? its either beat it with the nerfstick until its dead or..........well......thats it.

I didn't know FoW didn't work and i just got it a few days ago. So I got incapped yesterday with 15 sec. I wanted to see how FoW worked so i hit it, went to 50 seconds.

/Agree.

FoW since the CU has never worked for me. All it does is add 30 - 50 sec ONTO the incap timer when I try to use it. used it last week during the RRyatt trail quest and found out that is is indeed still broken. Come on DEVS...Gets your act together. FoW is now off my toolbar, till I hear it is fixed.

For the record, the move was not "nerfed". Nerfing something is bringing down it's power in an attempt to balance. This is clearly not working as intended at all. it's meant to reduce time incapacitated, instead it adds time. Not working... but not nerfed...

That word just gets thrown around way too much

Heck, I'd even be happy if they just stopped the insta-deathblows and made it so after using FoW you COULDN'T be DBd, even if it still didnt get you up immediately.

i think what it is intended to do, is lessen your incap time thus enabling you to get up and possibly escape the deathblow (which si theoretically noyw on a timer but sometimes not.

but what it ACTUALLY does, is the opposite, increases your incap time. LOL. classic, par for the course.

what id LIKE to see it do, is just back to the original pre-cu FoW, which was, it brought you UP from incap and equalized your three pools.

Ok, Force of Will is pretty much worthless. First of all it is bugged like heck, and second of all being able to stand back up faster to get a 2nd incap quicker isn't exactly a perk. Granted it beats receiving a deathblow but ultimately it only delays the inevitable. I think we should change the way it works to be more like Master Defender AI. I think this would be much better than its current action, and it could feed off of our mind, or our action. This would make it still less powerful than a Master Defender (as it should be), and not be so advantageous to us that it would be completely unfair to the opposition (since our mind or action would probably be pretty drained anyways if we were going to activate the skill).

I just wanted to see what my TK brethren thought. Hopefully ya'll like the idea too and we can get it noticed. If the idea is already out there just let me know since I didn't check before making this....
